The two worked together along with family & friends to make their dream come true. Using their farmland, the Hricovecs changed their lifestyle from farming food, to serving food as well. They broke ground in 1958 and celebrated their first wedding in the fall of 1959. Thomas & Mary instilled the importance of hard work and dedication in their family. Now, third-generation owner Bill Hricovec, a culinary graduate of Johnson & Wales, along with our team, integrates traditional family recipes with a mix of new and innovative menu selections to offer you a wide variety of choices.

Tom's Country Place was absolutely wonderful for our wedding day. From the very beginning, their communication was fast, informative, and friendly, which put us at ease during the planning process. Ashley, our coordinator, was always so helpful and patient, never getting annoyed with my endless questions. The quality of their work and overall value was great - the food was delicious, the bartenders were fantastic, and honestly the whole staff was wonderful and willing to help with anything we needed. We couldn't have asked for a better venue to host our special day. Highly recommend Tom's Country Place!

Pretty venue, especially if you are into nature and a more outdoor setting. Ceremony was out front. cocktail hour at the Fuller House (mostly at the big porch) and reception under a tent in the back lawn. It was perfect for the couple's garden party themed wedding! Staff at BAYarts was very friendly, helpful and professional! Only possible hard part for the DJ is that they us put on the stage right outside the tent for the reception where there is only a sun shade. This was not a problem, as they would have had the reception indoors if there was a significant chance of rain.

Donauschwaben's German-American Cultural Center was the perfect venue for our daughter & son-in-law’s wedding. The location to the airport, highway and hotel were ideal. Their property provided plenty of parking. The wedding was outside on a 92 day and was flawless. It was hot, but the trees were in the perfect position to shade the entire patio. The entire staff was amazing. The reception space was transformed into a beautiful space for our special celebration. Our family and friends shared with us how delicious the appetizers, meal and “aftertizers” of the homemade pretzels. Christine the Event Manager went above and beyond and made sure the day was special for everyone. She answered all of my questions, even up to the last minute. We were so impressed with how many times Christine checked in with us to make sure we were happy. We highly recommend Donauschwaben’s German-American Cultural Center.

The Boltes, who own and operate Arlington Acres, are phenomenal to work with. We can’t say enough good about our experience. Not only is their venue STUNNING, but it boasts an exceptional rain plan that allows you to leave your reception space untouched and still have plenty of room for guests to mingle for cocktail hour. Arlington Acres has two beautiful suites for the bridal party to get ready in, two equally gorgeous areas to host reception events, and a naturally beautiful outdoor ceremony space. Not to mention, there are so many great locations for photos that your photographer will love! Arlington Acres provides monthly open houses for booked couples so that you can do walk throughs with family, friends, and vendors, test decor, practice walk throughs, ask questions, and even do photo sessions. Sarah even went as far as to help us schedule a private time to do our engagement shoot on their property. We also booked majority of our vendors through the recommendations made by Arlington Acres. They have built an incredibly helpful website with all kinds of tips, suggestions, and measurement info. for their spaces. We booked Arlington Acres for both the Friday before our wedding and the full day of our wedding, Saturday. This gave us an additional day for set-up and we held our rehearsal dinner at the venue Friday evening. We looked at 5 venues with Arlington Acres being the first and nothing compared to the venue itself, or the hospitality and kindness shown by the Boltes. They are as invested in making sure your special day is flawless, as you are. Our guests are still talking about how beautiful their space and property are, and they loved the photo opportunities their sunflower patch (seasonal) brought to our day. If you’re questioning booking with Arlington Acres, just do it. You won’t regret it and you’ll love working with Sarah and her husband! If we had to do it over again, we would without a doubt still choose Arlington Acres!

My husband and I had our wedding ceremony and reception at Oakwood Lane Weddings on November 9th and it was the PERFECT day! The property is stunning, and the owners, Amanda and Jesh, are so welcoming, kind, helpful, and overall just the most incredible people. Amanda was always checking in with us from the time we first visited the venue until we were cleaning up the morning after the ceremony and helped us every step of the way. She kept us up to date on any offerings they had available and was quick to offer additional services if she felt it would make the day better. We cannot recommend this venue enough and are so excited for other couples to experience the kindness of Amanda and Jesh and the beauty of the property. We can't thank them enough for all they did to make our day so special.

I wanted to take the time to brag on Margaret and her staff at bloom and bower. From start to finish , I never once doubted whether I made the right choice in picking a venue. The grounds at Bloom and Bower are absolutely beautiful. A huge perk of booking with B&B is their decor that is included. They have a huge storage room where you can choose items you want for your wedding! I only had to bring in any personalized items I wanted /custom items- which saved me so much money! They even set up everything and tore down! Saved so much time and stress. My bridal party spent the night at the venue the night before the wedding, and my husband and I stayed the night of the wedding. This was so perfect /fun and made for a minimally stressful wedding day , not needing to worry about transportation. Morning after our wedding, we were greeted with breakfast- farm fresh scrambled eggs, sourdough toast, and fresh fruit and orange juice! Sooo good! On top of the perks of the venue, Margaret was absolutely fantastic to work with. She was super timely in responding to emails and never made me feel stupid or an annoyance. It is evident she truly cares about giving her clients the wedding of their dreams. Margaret was super helpful on the day of the wedding coordinating all the little things and relieving some day-of anxiety. Overall, I CANT RECOMMEND BLOOM AND BOWER ENOUGH-BOOK NOW!

Mohican Gardens & Conservatory was a wonderful venue for our wedding. While their communication wasn't the quickest, they were extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the planning process with my last-minute decisions. The venue itself was truly breathtaking - the gardens and conservatory provided a spacious and comfortable setting that set the perfect backdrop for our special day. They even went above and beyond by providing a golf cart to transport my grandparents around the property, which was a huge help. I would highly recommend Mohican Gardens & Conservatory to any couple looking for a stunning wedding venue with a dedicated staff. My favorite part was having private vows at the dock.
