Ridgestables LLC, provides a quaint, elegant country venue, for seasonal weddings. Separate bride and grooms quarters allow the couple and their parties to privately prepare for the exchange of their vows. The garden venue area is a park like setting adjacent to the indoor stables; providing ample space for guests to watch and enjoy the celebration of your vows and attend your wedding reception. All offered amenities are included in the rental price, along with set up and take down. Guests are encouraged to add their own special touches such as pictures, decor, and flowers; but, we strive to provide a venue that is wedding ready. Tours are available by appointment. A deposit is required to hold your date. The final payment and proof of event rider insurance is due 30 days prior to your wedding. This site was first developed by Philip Foster in 1847, as a resting place on the Oregon Trail. It still has four original Foster buildings (two moved onto the site), including a large hay barn, granary, and two houses. One house has been restored to its 1860 condition. We welcome all kinds of weddings, but are most appreciated by those who love Oregon History, and those who want to bring horses to the wedding. There are many options for how to use our site, and we are happy to help you create your dream event. Although parking is limited to about 50 cars, there is plenty of space for people.
