Thousands of brides across the United States and Canada have trusted Something Borrowed Blooms to provide the perfect flowers for their wedding day. I used Something Borrowed Blooms for my December 2024 wedding. I used them for the bridal bouquet, MoH bouquet, and 2 centerpieces. I got so many compliments on my bridal bouquet and it was so easy to use without any concerns about getting my dress wet or damaged from real flowers. The flowers look real and even smell floral. The mailing and send-back process was a breeze. I would use them again in a heartbeat for another event.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

4.9

  • Starts at $350
  • Serves Jackson, MO

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

I recommend 100% using flower moxie if you want to DIY your flowers. My cousin used them for her wedding and had a great experience so I decided to use for mine as well. I was worried since my wedding was on a Sunday that a Thursday delivery would have my flowers wilting by the time of the actual wedding. It was perfect. The flowers lasted so long. The recipes for the arrangements are easy to follow. Everyone loved my florals and was surprised it was DIY. I would totally use them again.

Jen was AMAZING to work with! When it came to flowers for my wedding, I had NO IDEA what I wanted. She was very patient with me and helped talk me through my vision. She gave me flowers to pick from, talked about how big I wanted my bouquet and how much greenery I wanted, and then when I could find colors I liked in swatches, she color-matched the colors I wanted from an inspo pic I found online! She was very professional and patient with me, even when my plans changed or I needed to add to my order.  I am not the best at putting together a bouquet. I am also someone who likes control, especially when it came to planning my wedding. I was thankful that I was able to give Jen the reins, tell her what I wanted, and watch her make my dreams come true. When I first saw my flowers, I was speechless. She truly did make my floral dreams come true, and now I get to keep my bouquet for the rest of my life! A wooden flower bouquet from Jen is the way to go!

I contacted Katie 5 years ago to order a custom bouquet and boutonniere for my literary themed wedding that took place in the KC Public Library. From the first conversation I knew I had made the right choice. Katie was communicative, enthusiastic, and lovely during the entire exchange. I still have my flowers displayed in my home and they’re a beautiful memento of such a special day!

I reached out to ronna after searching for months for a Bouquet that met my vision with no luck. It was maybe 2 months before my wedding and Ronna hadn't even started doing this professionally yet. I felt bad putting her on such a time crunch but I didn't want to settle for a bouquet that didn't match my vision. I explained to her what I was looking for and she exceeded my expectations! My bouquet is still hanging in my living room after almost 2 years looking amazing and reminding me of how amazing my wedding was. I will forever be grateful for ronna taking on such a big ask!

Sarah is an incredibly talented, personable, down-to-earth visionary. I highly recommend her not only for her knowledge, creativity, and ability to execute, but also for her golden heart and warm personality. Sarah's work feels like sculptural poetry. A love letter to nature. Always paying homage to the organic beauty of our land, and creating with respect to what each season offers us. Her floral pieces transform whatever environment they're in. They are ethereal, playful, and sophisticated. Sarah is someone who is connected to her craft on what feels like a very personal level, and the dynamic of her and her pieces draw you in, and inspire you to connect as well. She is such a delight to work with, and a force who gets the ball rolling. She is an artist, and a guide, and a teacher, and I can't recommend her enough.
