We had the absolute best experience with Fairview Laguna Seca! From the very beginning, Danielle was the reason we fell in love with the venue, her energy, warmth, and attention to detail made us feel so confident in our decision. When she transitioned out of her role, we were a little anxious, but then Melissa came in and completely blew us away. Melissa worked with us through the last 6 months of planning and was nothing short of incredible. She listened to every idea, every concern, and somehow made everything happen exactly how we envisioned it. She always made us feel heard, never overwhelmed, and her calm, organized energy was everything we needed. On the day of the wedding, she was a total rockstar. She kept everything running smoothly and still managed to check in with us, make us laugh, and reassure us that everything was under control. We honestly don't know what we would’ve done without her! Amber joined the team just days before the wedding, but you’d never know it. She was so on top of things and jumped right in like she had been with us the whole time. Matt was also amazing, he made sure the day flowed perfectly and kept everything on schedule without ever making us feel rushed. The food was delicious and there was so much of it, our guests are still talking about it! The bartending team was fast, friendly, and so easy to work with. Everyone from the Fairview Laguna Seca team went above and beyond to make our day feel special and stress-free. Our DJ, Ernesto, did an incredible job! He stuck to the vibe we wanted, played every request we had, and kept the dance floor going all night long. And the FLORALS … wow. D'Lily's absolutely nailed it. Every arrangement was stunning, fresh, and picture-perfect. They truly brought our vision to life. We can’t thank the entire Fairview Laguna Seca team enough. Our wedding was a dream, and it's all because of the amazing people who made it happen!

The Village, Big Sur was an absolute dream to work with, creating our "Night Before" celebration. I could not be happier with our evening and dinner! The staff was amazing both planning and executing our event which was held on the lawn and in "the barn", a truly gorgeous, serene setting. Attention to detail was evident, personal and thoughtful. The evening began with a "welcome" signature cocktail, champagne, and a beautiful canape' station. Dinner followed with a land and sea inspired menu. Absolute perfection! Ladies and gentlemen, if you are the person in your couple that is taking on the wedding planning, and contemplating this venue, look no further and book as soon as you can! I am a very meticulous and detail oriented person that brought in a ton of decor and the dream team here at Wedgewood placed it flawlessly. On the day of the wedding I did not receive one single call or email from the team and when I arrived at the venue, I was astonished at how beautiful everything looked. The wedding itself went off without a hitch. Our guests were so impressed by the food, cake, venue and the overall flow of the wedding. Alycia was our day of coordinator and she absolutely killed! She was a literal wedding angel. For reference, we went with the elite package and we extended our venue time until 11 PM. They were a dream to work with!

Big Sur Bakery
Big Sur, CA
  • Up to 85 guests
  • All-inclusive
  • Indoor & outdoor

Charming, rustic, sweet, romantic – these are words used to describe Big Sur Bakery. The whimsy runs deep in the history of the space; perched upon a succulent covered slice of heaven in the heart of Sur Country. It all started with Alice Jaeger - the legend at the heart of the our story. In 1929, while the Pacific Coast Highway was under initial construction, Alice began plans for a homestead haven to offer travelers a place to rest & refuel. Alice planted cacti & succulents by hand throughout the land. With her husband, Steve, a ranch-style home was built in 1936. It later became a diner + tiny inn; a gathering place for locals and wanderers to rest, refuel, and nourish with a homegrown meal. That ranch-home is what we call Big Sur Bakery today. We're honored to carry on the traditions. The unique charm of Big Sur Bakery is built into the walls & windows through the tales of every single love story that has graced our sweet little rest-stop-meets-bakeshop we call home.
