From start to finish, our experience at The Hidden Jewel was nothing short of magical. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and beautifully landscaped grounds that created the perfect backdrop for our special day. We held our ceremony outdoors, surrounded by lush greenery and a serene atmosphere, and it felt like a dream come true. The sunset in the background made our wedding photos the most beautiful I have ever seen! The staff at The Hidden Jewel went above and beyond. Our wedding coordinator was professional, organized, and incredibly attentive. She took care of every detail, ensuring that everything ran smoothly and we were able to relax and enjoy the day without a worry in the world. The catering was outstanding—our guests raved about the food, from the plated salad to the main course, and our cake area was stunning! The reception space was elegant, spacious, and versatile, allowing us to personalize the decor to reflect our style. Whether it was the twinkling lights on the walls or the cozy sitting area out front or tables on the porch for guests, or the Photo Booth outside it allowed our guests to mingle freely. The atmosphere was exactly what we envisioned. The venue’s attention to detail, from the perfect lighting to the perfect sound system, made our night truly unforgettable. Everyone was so impressed with the ease of having everything in one place. We can’t recommend The Hidden Jewel enough for any couple looking for a beautiful, stress-free, and memorable wedding day. The Hills of Luella is a great venue. It is gorgeous, located on loads of natural Texas beauty, and has a wonderful team managing the space. As a professional photographer I love visiting The Hills of Luella. Loads of natural light and gorgeous locations for unique images. I can't recommend this venue enough!

Walking into the building, I was totally taken in by the rich history that's all around. It's like each corner has a story to tell, and I loved soaking it all in. The mix of old-world charm and modern comfort in the design really sets the vibe. What I found super cool about The Augustus is how well thought out everything is. Having private access to the kitchen, separate restrooms, and a fully stocked bar makes a huge difference. It's like they're all about making sure you have what you need for any kind of event – big or small. And let's talk tech – it's seriously impressive! The audio-visual setup fits right in with the space, which meant we could have some killer presentations and entertainment. The way they blend history and modern tech is a winner in my book. We toured about 6 other venues around DFW before we visited the Pearl. My husband visited the Pearl at their open house in January 2022 while I was on a work trip and he knew this place was something special. We made an appointment with Connie and Barry for a few days later to go together and as we walked through the venue, we couldn't imagine any place else we wanted our wedding. Barry gave us the best venue tour we had been on and asked us questions about how we wanted our wedding to look to better help us see how our day would be. Throughout the planning process, I probably emailed Connie a dozen times and she was always so quick and happy to help with any suggestions or questions I had. They do a great job of thinking of all the details you need. On our wedding day on March 18, 2023, we couldn't have had a more magical and perfect day. All of our friends and family thought the venue and the wedding were amazing. I can't recommend the Pearl enough and highly encourage you to attend their open house if able or if not then book a tour as soon as you read the review.

The place is beautiful on the inside, with chandeliers, candle walls, cake décor and a inbuilt photo wall. Additionally, it has provision for a projector, up lighting, mic system and a bar. The best part was BYOB and inclusion of premium quality linen, runners and liberty to decorate as needed. The venue can easily hold 75-100 people with place to have a dance floor. Darrell is one of the best people I have worked with. Always smiling and helpful. The entire staff was more than accommodative of our needs. It is in historic downtown McKinney and keeps with the beauty of the downtown as well. I am so happy I choose this place for my reception.

Rachel and Pepi did a phenomenal job as wedding coordinators. They helped us out through the process of booking with them and making sure we got the wedding we wanted within our budget. The moment my now husband and I walked into the venue, we knew that this is where we wanted to have our wedding. The inside rooms are beautiful and spacious. The outside garden and gazebo is like something out of a fairytale. The food was incredible the night of my wedding and the staff brought the plates to us even though we had a buffet. I thought that was a nice touch especially since we were on our feet all day. The venue is very well maintained as well.
