“From my first call with JJ Essen, I knew his team was a good fit. He was prompt, communicative, and organized. He assigned Scott as our DJ & Javier as our photobooth attendant. Scott was equally communicative & organized. He set up multiple calls throughout the process, and was super flexible with us when we had to change our venue & timeline 3 weeks before the wedding. I sent Scott some specific songs, but also shared my Spotify playlists, and he made sure the entire night was popping! The dance floor was full all night, as Scott played banger after banger. He really nailed my music taste! And Javier made the photobooth so fun for my guests! “The DJ was the MOST important vendor for our wedding - we really wanted to have an epic dance party. Ramsey (U7 Austin DJ) was PERFECT for the job! From our first conversation with him, we knew he had the "vibe" we were looking for. My husband is very into metal music but since that is not exactly dance music for most people, we decided to play instrumental covers of metal songs during cocktail hour and dinner, which was so fun! (And we got so many compliments!). We completed his questionnaire and had an in-depth consultation with him beforehand so he knew exactly what we wanted, and he really delivered in every single way. We had a few unique requests that he nailed, like having a mini pop punk segment, and playing a shortened version of our first dance song (Metallica's Nothing Else Matters), but also told him we wanted "Millennial Bangers" and lots of songs to dance along to. There was truly not a single dud - every song was a hit. He did both the ceremony and reception music for us at the Hummingbird House and the ceremony music/audio was also wonderful. I would HIGHLY recommend him for your wedding!”

“I was a little iffy about having a band, I was so worried about people not dancing or not having a fun time. Boy was I wrong. This band was absolutely incredible!!! I had so many people asking me their name and commenting on how fun it was. My sister told me she has never been to a wedding where people never left the dance floor. The band really made this wedding amazing. Due to covid we only had about 53 people total and we were so worried for nothing. The band had me the groom up on stage singing and dancing with them. We had gone through their list of songs and marked which ones we liked/disliked, but with all the craziness of the wedding I never got around to sending it. This made me even more nervous because I hoped they wouldnt play things no one liked. Again, so wrong. They knew exactly what to play, they played classic rock, current pop, 90's music, some Motown, R&B, Sinatra for dinner set. They knew what would get people dancing. My husband who is a huge Alabama fan got pulled up on stage to sing sweet home Alabama. He loved it! Mark was incredible as well. He never minded to talk with me on the phone about our goals/worries for the wedding. He gave me the best piece of advice that if the bride and groom are having fun, the rest will follow and he was definitely right. We both agreed all night that this was the perfect choice. We were absolutely blown away with them! Definitely a must book for your wedding.”

“I found Mike via thumbtack & although on there it stated he was booked on my wedding date I thought I’d still reach out to him. I’m so happy I did because he put me in touch with our dj, thankyouteddy and he did an awesome job djing for our wedding! Mike was very informative and gave me plenty of information. He also has you do a questionnaire to help narrow down the right dj for you based off your music preferences. Mike will reached out periodically to follow up & also puts you in touch with the dj the week of the wedding to go over details. Teddy arrived on time and kept everyone on our toes throughout the night. The only thing I will say, is if you’re doing bridal party introductions it’s best to rehearse it if possible. Or give an exact time of the song for your dj to play when each couple comes out.”
