My passion for floral design started at my very first job in high school. I was lucky enough to only have to walk across the street (which saved a lot on gas) to a local flower shop where it all began. It seems it must have been fate because in that same building I learned I had been blessed with the creativity to design, met my husband, and became the owner of my own business.

Born and raised in Atlanta, I am a graduate of The Lovett School & UGA. A benefit of mine is the unique artistry I offer no matter the design or budget. We are a small shop and do only 1 wedding a day to give clients 150%. I believe I have a God given gift of creating pretty things as inspiration for my shop came just when diagnosed with cancer. When not in the studio, I enjoy growing wildflower gardens, climbing roses and drying flowers. An avid animal lover with 3 kitties (Delilah, Ebony, Fozzie Bear), I am Mom to a very spoiled German Shepherd named Stella. Now cancer free, I work 7 days a week doing what I love most!

I first started Gold & Bloom seven years ago with the purpose of bringing joy to other's lives through florals. I was a teacher for six years before taking a leap of faith and starting this beautiful floral business, and I'm so thankful that I did.
