You, your guests, and photographer will enjoy our open fields, woods, pond w/Japanese footbridge, and cabanas overlooking the Cape Fear River. Our Indoor venue has Heat and A/C making it comfortable year round. There is something magical about it and people comment all the time about the wonderful feeling there is inside. It is soft, sparkly, and has a hushed elegance with just enough wood to make it comfortable. It is practically decorated for you with lights, chandeliers, draping, and seating up to 150. AND...you can use our decor for free! Truly, you get SO much more than just a building for your event...you get a destination. As a working farm, we host no more than six weddings a year, making each one intimate, exclusive, and truly special. And our stunning 300-bush rose garden provides a low-cost option for fresh florals, when in season. At Carrollock we are a woman-owned venue that prides ourselves on our turn-key events. Not only are you getting the wedding of your dreams, but we also plan the entire wedding for you. We are your wedding planner, from top to bottom, start to finish, all you have to do is say "I do". We are meticulous hosts, we love every single little detail, we are excited with you for your special day, and we cry tears of joy with you in all of your intimate moments. The venue can seat around 200 guests comfortably. The main space is a dream with beautiful white shiplap walls, gorgeous stained plank cathedral ceiling and lots of natural light. The main space is heated and cooled so you can be comfortable in any season. There is a covered porch that leads to a large flagstone patio with a white fireplace, this is a great space for rehearsal dinners or just an extension of the reception space. The bridal suite is in a separate building adjacent to the venue. Recently built in 2023, with nearly 800 sq feet you and your wedding party will have a comfortable space to enjoy the day. Finally, there is an open air chapel that can seat 200 guests comfortably. It has beautiful cathedral style windows in the front and back of the chapel and open arches on the sides. This chapel will make a great rain back up option for your wedding day or if you love it as much as we do, it can be a beautiful plan A option as well.

The Farm on Cotton is a rustic wedding venue located in Sanford, NC. Nestled on fourteen acres of pastoral land featuring a working apple orchard and adorable farm animals, this venue offers a rural ambiance with a touch of elegance. A short drive from Raleigh, you and your loved ones can enjoy the seclusion of this stunning location with the convenience of nearby big city amenities.

This a working family-owned farm. All of the wooden structures have been built with wood off this land. We also have a pick-your-own blueberry operation in June and July. We currently have an country setting venue just miles from downtown Raleigh.

The Farm at 95 offically opened it's doors in October of 2013 and to this day is one of the two largest venues in Johnston County (oh, our sister location is the other larges venue)! Our space can accommodate anywhere from 80 to 400 guests, with separate rooms for food, dedicated dressing rooms, a well equipped stage and a relaxing patio heaters, fans and a gas fire pit. When you inquire, you will also receive information about our sister location, The Farm at 42, which we opened in March of 2018. This venue is similar to The Farm at 95, but has simple improvements such as larger dressing suites, upgraded finishes and a completely different ceremony setting. We hope that between one of our locations, we are able to work together to plan your pefect day!

The Farm at 42 offically opened it's doors in March of 2018! Our space can accommodate anywhere from 20 to 400 guests, with separate rooms for food, dedicated dressing rooms, a well equipped stage and a relaxing patio with heaters, fans and a gas fire pit. In addition, we have a smaller space (The Maple Room) that is perfect for those more intimate weddings of 60 guests or less, with "micro wedding" pricing. When you inquire, you will also receive information about our sister location, The Farm at 95, which we opened as our original location in 2013. This venue is similar to The Farm at 95, but has a few different finishes, skylight and a completely different ceremony setting. We hope that between one of our locations, we are able to work together to plan your pefect day!

Sugarneck is rumored to have gotten its name by the bootleggers traveling along the Cape Fear River as a code word for the place where they would pick up their moonshine. Sugarneck reaches back long before smartphones and social media, back to a time when the only way to send a message was by writing a letter and sending it in the mail. One of the earliest U.S. Post Offices in North Carolina still stands strong today. It was a community where people gathered, shared news and good times. Built in 1874, the renovated original Cabin structure serves as a unique visual reminder of those simpler times. The Cabin and the Post Office are on the National Register of Historic Places. The vast scenic views of the North Carolina countryside along with the grandness of our 150 year old Oak trees do not go unnoticed, and at night, the stars light up the sky. Today, there is an unexpected immersive experience that brings history, nature and modern elegance together in total privacy.

In the year of 1762, Mr. Newberry and Mr. Thames purchased the land from Mr. Gray. In the deed, there was mention of a sawmill and grist mill on the place, but no mention of a house. In 1833 Mr. Byrne purchased the land from Mr. Newberry. At this time the house and store were on the land. Later on Mr. Byrne sold the land, and it change hands several times..." The house served as a mill home, store, and the Gray's Creek post office for many years.

Doug and Cindy Carroll opened the venue in 2005 with the first wedding being held in 2006. Doug’s grandson, Paul, now takes care of the property and his wife Monica handles the day to day operations and even coordinates some of the weddings. Initially, the 62-acre Het Landhuis Estate was part of a 1,000-acre farm owned by the Henderson family who operated a tanyard in the area, making saddles and other leather items. One day a future bride drove past Het Landhuis; she stopped in the main driveway and asked if she could get married there. That conversation changed the course of the estate, and Het Landhuis had its Grand Opening in 2010. Het Landhuis is not your ordinary location for a wedding; this becomes obvious once you visit the grounds and look at the eight different venues the estate offers. Het Landhuis presents you with a magical setting for your storybook wedding!
