The 1868 Farmhouse is a gorgeous wedding venue nestled in the Iowa countryside, just 15 minutes outside of Ames and 45 minutes from Des Moines. Our weekend rental is three days long and includes access to the space from Friday 1PM-Sunday 1PM. Our style could be described as architectural, dark toned, and historically elegant. Our venue comfortably holds up to 550 guests at banquet style setup with space for a head table, cake tables, buffets, bars, and dance floor. Additionally, our ballroom spaces are designed to be separated or used in combination, which allows us to serve intimate weddings of 50 -150 guests as well.
