In 1952, Larry and Vera Gaudio, our grandparents and the founders of LaVera Party Center, launched a catering business that quickly became known for its homemade Italian cuisine. They were committed to using only the finest ingredients, crafting every dish with care. Today, three generations later, we’re proud to continue their legacy, serving up the same timeless recipes with the same dedication to quality.

Back in 2023, I wanted to put my passion for cooking to use, so I started a weekly meal plan service for family and friends. Each Friday, I created a new menu with two recipes—a meal and a soup—which became a big hit! As I grew, I began offering catering services, from small luncheons of 15 to weddings with 80 guests. Although I do most of the cooking myself, I get help from my mother, Heather, and my boyfriend, Alex. Initially, I had three jobs, including bartending at a local bar, which I loved. This inspired me to offer my mobile bar service, starting in March 2025.

At Chemical X, we serve up cocktails with intention, delicious dinners that hits the spot, thorough planning & anything else you might need for your big day! Chemical X also offers non-denominational wedding ceremony officiant services. Our owner/operator, Elizabeth, 30, has been in the service industry for over a decade, finding her true calling as a Bartender when she migrated to Cleveland in 2015. She has competed in various cocktail competitions, became a Tales of The Cocktail alumni, acquired her TIPs, ServSafe & Bar Smarts certificates & opened Chemical X, a one stop shop for all your event needs!
