“My husband and I recently had the privilege of working along Jen and her husband Matt as our wedding photographers. A week before our wedding, we received some unfortunate news that our original photographer was no longer able to shoot our wedding, based on an unfortunate situation. Immediately, she reassured me that we would be in the best hands with Jen Peterson Photography. As you can imagine, that's a lot to take in so close to your wedding day, but as soon as I spoke to Jen on the phone (whom I've never met), all my nerves slipped away! It was as though I had known her for years. She truly is the most kindhearted, genuine, and uplifting person I've ever had a chance to work with! The fact the her and Matt graciously agreed to shoot our wedding, no questions asked and so last minute, speaks of their character. Fast forward to our wedding, they far exceeded every expectation we had! From wrangling in two extended families, to dealing with the sweltering summer heat, nothing stopped them. Throughout the entire day, she made sure EVERY photo was perfect. Also, I can honestly say that in all the weddings I've attended, I never witnessed a photographer mingle amongst the guests to take their photo's to help the bride and groom relive their special day. “Heather was wonderful to work with! We are the awkward type in front of a camera, but working with Heather made everything seem so stress-free during our wedding planning and photo sessions. Our engagement photo session was fun and care-free and we unbeknownst to all of us, she actually ended up taking beautiful photos of our beautiful rabbit, Trixie before she passed on the following month. Something that we truly appreciated and will never forget. For our wedding, Heather was very detailed and gave us a run down of what to expect for the photos. Nothing was hidden and she was up front about it all and asked if we wanted to add anything as well. Although Mother Nature had other plans for the day, we were still able to get the majority of our photos done. She even snuck in polaroid photos that were just too adorable - And I have no idea when she even took them! We received our wedding photos back and everyone absolutely loves them. I just love her style. While there are some photographers who do a large amount of filter/presets (no shade to those who do), there's just something about Heather's style of being able to keep it clean and natural that I just love! With Mother Nature having other plans with making it a misty ceremony and a downpour reception, we did miss out on doing a handful of photos of cocktail hour. Because of that, Heather was quick to offer us a bridal session to take some additional photos to complete our wedding. Instead of returning to the venue, we actually decided to relocate to Fort Bragg and take photos at the Mendocino Garden. The photos turned out absolutely gorgeous with the oceanic background and the dahlias that she chose to work with. She made everything seem so light-hearted and there was so much laughter with each session. Thank you Heather for everything you did throughout our wedding planning and so much more. You've captured so many wonderful moments and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer!”

“Hire Lo. You won't regret it. Not only does she know what she is doing in terms of getting all the planned shots, she got incredible candid shots and live shots of my groom and I, our families, and our guests. As we've been looking back so far at our pictures, we get to relive the emotion of the day. It's the intangible thing that an incredible photographer can do--capture the emotion. I can feel our joy radiating out of our photos and I am so grateful I hired Lo. Years from now we are going to get to experience this day over-and-over because the quality of her photos is incredible. The variety of shots she was able to get makes it seem like she had second shooter (but she's just that good). Our first look was perfect. She made sure we got some golden hour shots and then got us right back to dinner so we could eat. She also is incredible at giving minor adjustment tips to make sure we weren't doing anything weird with our hands lol. Additionally, and this was big for me, working with her ahead of the wedding she reminded me how to be excited for this day. Wedding planning was stressful, but every time I got to talk to Lo she got me back to a place of being excited and joyful. The day-of when she showed up, she helped make sure we had everything covered, and kept me calm even when some things went wrong. I felt like I not only had a great photographer, but a friend who had my back and wanted to make sure my day went perfect. I am so glad we hired Lo. “Sebastian took our wedding photos and I'm in love with them! Me and my husband are not typically in front of a camera and unsure of how to pose, Sebastian helped us feel so so comfortable and gave us direction and different poses so there was more variety than just the one typical pose. He was so sweet and patient when it came to our families, he also speaks fluent Spanish and English which was perfect for our American/Peruvian wedding (my parents don't speak Spanish and my husband's parents don't speak English.) Not only was his personality off the charts, his photography skills were also outstanding. He caught the sweetest moments between my husband and I as well as with our families. He captured details of the wedding that I would probably forget if we didn't have pictures (table settings, my nails, decorations etc) and the quality was stunning. We couldn't be more grateful for Sebastian as a person and as a photographer, look no further cause he's the whole package!!”
