Their genuine excitement for our wedding made us feel like we were the most important people in the state of Oregon.\n\nThe venue itself is truly breathtaking. The immaculate scenery of the area is the perfect backdrop for the venue. Everything from the lush green grass, the stunning chapel, the cozy farmhouse and the barn itself were more than we could have asked for.\n\nHaving chairs and tables at the venue made our special day so much easier knowing that we didn’t have to find a way to bring those in ourselves. The additional decor that is available to rent was also very convenient. We didn't have to bring in any outside rentals!\n\nThe kitchen prep area in the barn was also such a huge help as it allowed us to bring our own caterer to the venue and have all the food prepared right there for our guests. The built-in bar across from the kitchen was also fantastic, as was the bartender, Sam, who was recommended by Kari.\n\nThe ability to stay overnight at the venue in the farmhouse with a few of our guests was such a bonus as it allowed us to spend more time with them and not have to leave early to a hotel.\n\nWhite Barn Estate is perfect for a wedding venue. There is no other word to describe it. Hood Meadows. They’re such a unique and fun venue with incredible views of the mountain. One of our favorite aspects was that the entire resort was closed to the public for the day, meaning no random people were able to interrupt the ceremony or reception. They took such good care of our clients, their guests, and us. They escorted us to some beautiful hidden spots for portraits that we wouldn’t have known about if it weren’t for them. From when we arrived prior to the ceremony until we left late that night, their staff was always checking in to make sure our clients had everything they needed to have the best wedding experience. They made sure to have all the details they needed from us and also helped us work through any spots we were stuck on. The getting ready space was perfect for us to get ready with our bridal party and parents. We were thrilled to be able to use the outdoor space for our first look as well. We were able to rent and use 3 locations throughout the weekend (Pavilion, House 3, and Thunder Island), and each was accommodating and gorgeous in its own way. The ease of having everything from welcome night, rehearsal, ceremony, and reception in the same spot made our logistics 10 times easier. Lots of wedding venues are gorgeous, but what sets the Locks apart is their this place is that they are truly flexible and hospitable. They will actually listen and try to make anything work for you! We had 200 guests so we really pushed the capacity, and the team worked flawlessly to make sure we got what we needed. Jeanetta (the manager) offered so much helpful perspective, was easy to reach and communicate with, and went the extra mile, even helping us put up and take down lights, bringing her personal tools. It felt like showing off the PNW to our east coast and Midwest guests. They were blown away, and so were we. If you want a low-stress, high-flexibility, and completely stunning outdoor wedding, this is the spot.
