We reached out to her to set up a Zoom call and knew we wanted to book with her by the time we hung up. She was flexible, realistic about budgets, and had great suggestions and answers to our questions. After our initial Zoom call, she sent us a vision document that included a lot of the wishes we had mentioned and visuals of what she was thinking. It was the most detailed proposal we got from any vendor in the whole wedding process! We were beyond impressed. We had follow up calls and emailed back and forth about wedding color updates, Pinterest Boards, venue pictures, etc. Christine was prompt in her responses. I knew that I wanted a bouquet (and to still feel like a bride) but I wasn’t sure how that would hold up in transport. After consulting with Holly at Seascape Florals, she recommended going with a bouquet of silk flowers and greenery. Following that initial consultation, we corresponded several times leading up to my big day and she created multiple bouquets to make sure she gave me exactly what I was looking for. We were so impressed by her professionalism, kindness, and skill that when we decided to host a small reception it was a no-brainer to book Seascape Florals for that function as well. Even on short notice, Holly delivered! She captured my vision perfectly and was so detail-oriented, adding touches throughout the space that I would never have thought of. Choosing to go through with a wedding and reception during the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic came with a lot of rules and they were constantly changing. Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

“Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of). I actually really enjoyed getting to do my florals myself, and would highly recommend if you are creative and DIYing your wedding!”
