My journey officially began with a box of old photographs from the 60s. I sat at my grandma’s kitchen table for hours listening to stories and connecting with my family in a way that wouldn’t have been possible without those old photographs. I realized that photographs are our legacy. In 10, 20, 50, or 80 years when we want to look back on the lives we lived, and the people we loved we will always turn to photographs. In 2015 I started Montage Media Films and began investing everything I earned into upgrading equipment. I spent the next 2 1/2 years growing the business and by the fall of 2017, I quit my full-time job to go “all in” on Montage Media. It turned out to be one of the most life-changing decisions I have ever made. I now get to have a career doing what was once my hobby. It sounds cliche, but it’s totally true: “If you find something you love, you will never work another day in your life”.

Camp Newaygo is an all girls resident summer camp, which has been around since 1925. During the times we do not have campers on site we specialize in weddings and events in our three gorgeous lodges, which offer rustic charm with all the modern amenities.
