Jillian was creative and extremely supportive in figuring out how to affix the flowers to the boat. Additionally, when I decided to do cake centerpieces, Jillian was flexible with changing the plan to bud vases. She recommended adding greenery to the table which brought the whole look together. Not to mention that the flowers she sources last so long!! Over a week and a half after the wedding the flowers looked as good as day 1! I feel so lucky that I encountered Jillian in my wedding planning process. She is simply the best!”

(side note, if you want to do that, book that service ahead of time! I had no idea and almost couldn't find someone to do it). Since the venue overlooked a harbor, I didn't want an arch to block the view - instead, Erin recommended a sprawling garden style centerpiece, and it took my breath away! (See photo by Morgan Wynne Photography) We ended up bringing it upstairs to decorate the reception area after the ceremony was complete. The bouquets and boutonnieres were in a similar style and tied the whole thing together perfectly. The one downside was that they changed what the collection looked like between when I booked the flowers and when I received them, and there was no option to go back to the original. They changed the bridesmaids’ flowers to be more floral, when I chose the Jane collection due to the greenery. As flowers weren’t specifically important to me, this wasn’t that big of a deal, but it didn’t feel great to not be able to get what we originally wanted and paid for. After reaching out to them about this issue, we did get a 50% discount on the bridesmaid flowers.”

My name is Isabelle, and I grow chemical free, regenerative flowers and herbs on 3/4 of an acre in Hamden, CT. I truly love working on these blooms from start to finish, and I hope to get to share some of the beauty with you on your special day.

We had such a fun time thinking up ways to engage my partner and I's family and friends, and Isabelle came up with the idea for a flower arranging party in their beautiful shop. The day before our wedding, we had our family try their hand at floral design. They had so many questions (ie, "Am I doing this right?" "What kind of flower is THIS?!"), and Isabelle greeted them all with understanding and care. AND there was handmade herbal tea and strong air conditioning on a 95-degree day.
