TLDR: Book Canyon and Pine if you want someone reliable, capable, and CRAZY talented (especially if you are an introvert!!). Emma SAVED our wedding from being ruined by a coordinator. For context, I have been photographing portraits for 10 years and have photographed two weddings. There's a LOT that goes into both weddings and good photos so we (I, haha!) were really picky when choosing a wedding photographer. From the moment we first connected with the team at Canyon & Pine, we knew we were in good hands. She truly helped me feel beautiful in front of the camera. On the day of our wedding, Canyon & Pine's thoughtful and personable demeanor helped us stay calm and focused on enjoying the moment. I moved to downtown Minneapolis from Iowa to attend college. My husband and I met my husband at a cafe concert where we both never thought we’d see each other again. A few days later, he walked into my college class and the joy on my face was indescribable. The rest is history! I met a local photographer who took me under their wing where I learned the beauty of photography. This is where I fell in love with people, specifically the connection between two who are madly in love. I am passionate about documenting love in its rawest form for who the couple really is and for how their day naturally unfolds. It’s ALWAYS about the couple.
