The Barn at Honey Blossom Orchard is over 100 years old and is comprised of hand hewn beams throughout. It is very rustic but has many modern conveniences. It is the perfect backdrop for your perfect day and we are excited to share it with you and your loved ones.

Maple Lane Retreat sits on 3.5 acres surrounded by farmland. The newly renovated horse arena provides 8,500 sq. ft. for events of all sizes large and small. Newly added barn restrooms and additional parking lot expansion provide enough to easily accommodate up to 350 guests. Attached to the barn is a 1,800 sq. ft. patio that overlooks a 3/4 acre pond with color changing water fountain.

Built in 1893, the former city hall of Fort Wayne is a beautiful example of Richardsonian Romanesque architecture. As a museum and a historic building, the History Center has a unique character of its own for you and your guests to explore. Travel through time and learn about the history of Allen County and Fort Wayne through the museum’s fascinating exhibits. The History Center has three rooms available to rent, making it the perfect location for any event. The Shields Room is the centerpiece of the museum. It is the former City Council Chamber and Courtroom. Its features include golden oak paneling, a grand chandelier, large windows with expansive city views, and the restored 22-foot ceiling decorated in rich colors and 24kt gold-leaf stencils. You and your guests may ascend the Grand Staircase or use the elevator to reach the room’s second floor entrance. Two smaller rooms, the Board Room and the Orientation Room, are also available to accommodate small gatherings.

Situated in Columbus Grove, OH, Black Bird Farm is a contemporary farm and wedding venue. Black Bird Farm boasts 150 acres of lush farmland, a reflection of the pride of America’s breadbasket. On the property is a turn-of-the-century farmhouse and complementary barn that gives the location a storied and historical romance. Hamilton Lake's Cold Springs evolved from a 1870 farm purchase by Simpson Watkins. By 1885, Watkins Grove hosted picnics, leading to a hotel (1898), dance hall, and early 1900s recreation. Cold Springs Cottage Park, platted in 1896, grew significantly, with a unique leasing system. Sundays featured bands and speakers. Visitors arrived by train. A larger hotel opened in 1914, and the dance hall became a central draw with live music. A beach area developed later. The hotel prospered through the 20th century, adding a bar and modernizing. An 18-hole golf course was built. Dancing remained popular with big bands, later transitioning to rock. Today, Cold Springs offers a hotel, dining, bar, beach, golf, cottages, and retro dances, still family-run after five generations.

The Hopewell Barn is located about 1/2 mile south of the historic Hopewell Church. Built in 1872 and purchased by Deb in 2018, the church is listed on National Historic Register for its ties to Gene Stratton Porter. Gene was a famous author in the early 1900’s and the area of ‘Hopewell’ was used as the locale for the settings for several of her books. The name ‘Rustic Barn at Hopewell’ was selected to pay tribute to historic roots of the Hopewell area.
