That one photo inspired us to review the gallery of their entire wedding and then her portfolio and we were blown away. 7 months later our own wedding day arrived. My husband and I are the type of people who are wildly present and constantly forget to take photographs of our life together. We knew we wanted to capture this day without the photography becoming a chore or hindering our ability to do what we do best and enjoy our time. Nina was able to provide just that and was incredible (as was the second photographer she worked with for our big day). Nina seamlessly handled all the chaotic moments and pre-ceremony stress of the very emotional bride (me) in stride! “Grace was a pleasure to work with during the wedding planning process. She was timely in her responses and upfront with pricing. On the day of the wedding, it felt like we were herding cats, but she remained professional and efficient. Even though we were running behind schedule with getting dressed, she managed to squeeze in a few dress shots and some first look photos. Grace remained patient even as some of our friends and family showed up late for photos! As we moved between locations, she made sure I was holding my dress in a way so that I wouldn’t fall on my face. She also helped my MOH bustle my dress after the ceremony (again, so I wouldn’t fall on my face). Grace was always cognizant of the lighting on location, and how it would affect photos. Her assistant, Joey, was lovely and accommodating as well. All in all, a wonderful experience!”

Hands down, the easiest and best decision we made (besides going through with the marriage ;-)) was picking Chris as our photographer. He was so easy to work with from the get go. We set up a brief meeting, shared our vision (we wanted a "photojournalist approach"), and mapped out a schedule of events. Anything that we did not think to ask, he made sure to bring up and help make our vision more complete. Chris was excellent at capturing all of the tiny moments of the night without being in anyone's way. The pictures that he captured were absolutely STUNNING--the perfect amount of sentimental moments captured in beautiful lighting and silly off the cuff moments that captured the essence of each and every guest. We would work again with Chris in a heartbeat and friends have already requested his contact information for their ceremony. “Darcy was an absolute pleasure to work with and we LOVE our photos. She truly captured the emotions of the day and the essence of all the people we love the most. Any time i look at our photos, i find myself involuntarily smiling. She captured the classic posed photos AND the precious in-between moments where people are being their most authentic selves (the face my dad makes when he's really intently listening, the hand gestures my mom uses when she's explaining something and can't find the right words, the face my mother in law makes when she's cracking herself up, the face my father in law makes right before the tears fall, and so so many more). Not ONLY are her photos amazing, but she made us feel so relaxed on the day-of. Her style is totally unobtrusive, which is just what we needed.
