She’s willing to travel to you for the trial (in addition to the wedding of course) which helped me out SO much! And the two hair & makeup artists she brought with her to take care of my bridesmaids???? They were also INCREDIBLE. My bridesmaids all couldn’t stop gushing about how much they loved their hair and makeup and honestly I was shocked because I have a few hard pleasers! Lupe is just so professional and it truly shows: she helped throughout the entire hair extension purchase process to make sure I got the perfect style and color for my hair, then cleaned and prepped the hair extensions for me and gave me a hair extension bag to store them in, started massaging my shoulders on my wedding day when I was stressing over the weather and the possibility of having to bring the wedding indoors, greatly helped the photographers with all their photos even after she was already done with my hair and makeup, then stayed behind to touch all us girls up after we got drizzled on by rain for our getting ready photos outside, and even gave me a touch up kit before she left for the day. Just be cognizant of their cancellation policy requiring 14 days notice, otherwise 50% fees apply. They follow the contract to a tee and changes 12 days before were NOT accommodated. They don’t contact your bridesmaids about this either so it is 100% up to the bride to communicate the cancelation policy to bridesmaids, which was not clear to me or my bridesmaids. Aside from that disappointment, working with Candy Rose was a dream. Their corporate approach kept us on track to celebrate in style.”

“Alicia has done my makeup several times for some big moments in my life! The event always seems to be better when I look and feel my best, and Alicia never ever disappoints. She takes the time to customize your makeup the way you like it, and does as much as she can to ensure YOU look like YOU! For example, I typically wear my eyeliner from the very inside of my eyelid and “wing it” out. Not everyone does the same as I do, and Alicia asks how I do it normally, so that she can do it for me. The little things like that really make you feel your best and like you, not some model or something. She is incredibly clean and sanitary as well. All of her makeup is dispensed onto a palette that she uses to apply it to your face so no cross contamination is possible. Everything else she uses is sprayed with alcohol and she doesn’t use the same brush on two different people. Girl has TONS of brushes that always show up to an event nice and clean looking brand new. As a person, she is SO sweet! You can tell she absolutely loves what she does and you feel like you’ve known her forever after you finish up with your face of makeup. She is so wonderful and will do her best to make any reasonable request a reality. She’s truly a gem and I could not imagine using another makeup artist. I’ve called her back numerous times because she makes me feel like a million bucks each and every time. Bekah listened to every single request I had. I was really impressed with her immediate understanding of the look I was going for, and the color choices she made to make that happen. She understood that I wanted very natural brows and lashes, but a lot of sparkle and glow. She immediately made me feel comfortable with her welcoming and warm energy, and at the trial it felt like I was just doing makeup with a new friend. The energy of the people surrounding you on your wedding day is very important so I really appreciated that about her. After living in my trial makeup for the day, I texted her with the tweaks and I wanted to make and she was so responsive and understanding. I wanted to do a lighter coverage and I was worried it would look unbalanced if we kept the rest of the drama that I loved. She assured me that she could fulfill all of my vision and I just felt really confident that I was choosing the right artist for me. On the best day of my life, she absolutely crushed it. And not just with my makeup - my bridesmaids, mom, and MIL all looked absolutely stunning. Glowing, gorgeous, so much attention to detail. And she did it ALL by herself - 8 people - with time to spare. I felt like the most beautiful autumnal forest fairy that ever lived. I didn’t feel uncomfortable or like I was wearing too much product at all. She absolutely finessed my brows, lashes, and liner. My cheeks were lifted and glowy.
