“I first met Alicia (briefly) at a styled photo shoot. Alicia did not do my makeup during this styled shoot, but she was one of the contributing make up artists and she did an amazing job completing her assigned model’s make up within the allotted time frame. When it came time for me to select a make-up artist, I had a VERY short short-list of artists. Alicia was one of two that I contacted based on my experience with other professionals. I was highly impressed by the quick response (mere hours compared to days with no response from another). In terms of pricing, Alicia’s work was very affordable and lower than the average per person cost based on my own industry experience. I already knew I liked Alicia’s work from the styled shoot and her Instagram photo portfolio, but I was still nervous that I would lose the look of my face (aka my freckles) as I have many times before in styled shoots so I opted to add in the bridal trial. Alicia was very professional in scheduling the trial and helped me interpret my very indecisive style. I knew I wanted neutral makeup to bring out my eyes and she recommended colors and told me exactly what she was doing at each step. As I drove from my makeup trial to my hair trial, I could not keep my eyes out of the rear view looking at myself (thank god for red lights to sit at and admire myself!). On my wedding day, Alicia treated each of my bridesmaids with the same care and respect that she afforded to me during my trial. Everyone was so impressed with their makeup and I absolutely loved how I looked. I saw myself (freckles, yay!) and I felt truly stunning. She even gave me a little “touch up” kit for the rest of the day in case of oily skin and smudges which I thought was the kindest and most thoughtful way to set herself apart from the crowd of makeup artists to choose from. I highly recommend Alicia for her talent, professionalism, and value.”

On my wedding day her team actually got all of our bridesmaids, moms, and me done with both hair and makeup AHEAD of schedule, everyone looked incredible, and all of our looks lasted all day despite the heat. “Sade was an absolute joy to work with. From the very beginning she was very approachable and listened to my vision. Sade is personable and made me and my loved one feel comfortable. Sade did my makeup for my engagement photos and wedding. I was going for a natural glam for myself, bridesmaids, mom and mother in-law, and she delivered. We all looked stunning. The makeup wasn’t just copy and paste, it was customized to flatter each one of us. There were some hiccups along the way, but Sade communicated with me the entire time. It was a little bummer not receiving the baggy with the makeup remover etc. that came with the package. But that does not take away from the high quality of work she produced. I can honestly say I enjoyed my time with Sade and her “assistant”. I would hire her again in a heartbeat!”

“My experience with CatFace was amazing! My entire bridal party plus the mothers of the wedding felt so beautiful with their makeup and it lasted all day! There were 11 faces to be done and CatFace and her second artist rose to the occasion and got everyone’s makeup done by the time the photographer came. “I am so happy that I found and hired The I Do Glam Crew for my December 2024 wedding! Lori and her team were amazing throughout the entire process. I booked two separate trials with Lori to try out all kinds of different hair options, and she probably spent about 5 hours with me to make sure I was going with the hairstyle that would make me the happiest on the big day. She never made me feel rushed or annoying, even though I was being incredibly indecisive! Her shop is adorable and comfortable and the other people on her team were all fantastic - they showed up to my house the morning of the wedding on time, they breezed through everyone's hair and makeup in a timely fashion, and everyone looked gorgeous after all was said and done. As someone who really doesn't like to have a ton of makeup, I was super nervous about having our makeup professionally done, but I had nothing to worry about - it turned out amazing. One of my bridesmaids opted out of having her makeup done because she never likes how people do her makeup, but afterwards she told me that this was the one time she somewhat regretted not getting her makeup done because she loved how ours turned out so much. Anyway, I cannot recommend this team enough! They are wonderful to work with and I would absolutely hire them again.”

“I had the pleasure of having Emily as my makeup artist for my April 2024 wedding. Emily was so easy to work with. Her communication was timely and responsive. She was very helpful in providing me exactly what I wanted for my wedding. Emily started by having me complete a makeup trial. I LOVED my trial makeup and Emily was so responsive to everything I asked. Emily then created a completely personalized hair and makeup timeline for wedding day that was super easy and required very little work from me to create. On the day of the wedding she brought a team of 2 ladies with her to get all 6 of my bridesmaids, mother of the bride, and 2 flower girls hair and makeup done. Emily was on time, professional, and a lot of fun to work with. She was flexible and provided such a relaxing and easy going feel for the day. I was so appreciative of how easy going it was because wedding day can be so stressful and hectic. Emily and her team were able to get us done on time and we all loved our hair and makeup.
