And the two hair & makeup artists she brought with her to take care of my bridesmaids???? They were also INCREDIBLE. Lupe is just so professional and it truly shows: she helped throughout the entire hair extension purchase process to make sure I got the perfect style and color for my hair, then cleaned and prepped the hair extensions for me and gave me a hair extension bag to store them in, started massaging my shoulders on my wedding day when I was stressing over the weather and the possibility of having to bring the wedding indoors, greatly helped the photographers with all their photos even after she was already done with my hair and makeup, then stayed behind to touch all us girls up after we got drizzled on by rain for our getting ready photos outside, and even gave me a touch up kit before she left for the day. I would happily recommend Candy Rose for your event styling needs. They excel at making your hair and makeup vision while sticking to schedules. Just be cognizant of their cancellation policy requiring 14 days notice, otherwise 50% fees apply. They follow the contract to a tee and changes 12 days before were NOT accommodated. They don’t contact your bridesmaids about this either so it is 100% up to the bride to communicate the cancelation policy to bridesmaids, which was not clear to me or my bridesmaids. Aside from that disappointment, working with Candy Rose was a dream. Their corporate approach kept us on track to celebrate in style.”

“I first met Alicia (briefly) at a styled photo shoot. Alicia did not do my makeup during this styled shoot, but she was one of the contributing make up artists and she did an amazing job completing her assigned model’s make up within the allotted time frame. When it came time for me to select a make-up artist, I had a VERY short short-list of artists. Alicia was one of two that I contacted based on my experience with other professionals. I was highly impressed by the quick response (mere hours compared to days with no response from another). In terms of pricing, Alicia’s work was very affordable and lower than the average per person cost based on my own industry experience. I already knew I liked Alicia’s work from the styled shoot and her Instagram photo portfolio, but I was still nervous that I would lose the look of my face (aka my freckles) as I have many times before in styled shoots so I opted to add in the bridal trial. Alicia was very professional in scheduling the trial and helped me interpret my very indecisive style. I knew I wanted neutral makeup to bring out my eyes and she recommended colors and told me exactly what she was doing at each step. As I drove from my makeup trial to my hair trial, I could not keep my eyes out of the rear view looking at myself (thank god for red lights to sit at and admire myself!). On my wedding day, Alicia treated each of my bridesmaids with the same care and respect that she afforded to me during my trial. Everyone was so impressed with their makeup and I absolutely loved how I looked. I saw myself (freckles, yay!) and I felt truly stunning. She even gave me a little “touch up” kit for the rest of the day in case of oily skin and smudges which I thought was the kindest and most thoughtful way to set herself apart from the crowd of makeup artists to choose from. I highly recommend Alicia for her talent, professionalism, and value.”

She really wants her brides to look and feel great. she is open to criticism and wants to make sure everything is perfect.
