She was transparent with pricing and logistics. Hannah is located in the Girdwood area but we were getting married in Valdez. She promised that if I had someone to pick up the flowers she would ensure they were safe and well prepared for the 6 hour drive. Every single bouquet, boutonniere, and dog flower collar arrived packaged, in water, and alive and well. They were GORGEOUS. I would pick Yarrow and Co. over and over again. We had quite a bit of space, an outdoor ceremony area, and indoor eating area, and even a big house with rooms to get ready in and Rachel not only made each space feel intentional and special, she was able to move things around when the weather turns extra rainy and we moved from Plan A to Plan B to Plan C, without any issues. Looking back on it, she made our special day so seamless and easy, and my husband and I are truly forever grateful to her for her leadership and thoughtfulness. She even found our favorite flower and placed it in our room the night before so it bloomed perfectly the morning of for detail photos and getting ready photos. She's a dream to work with - super collaborative, knowledgable and kind. We had quite a bit of space, an outdoor ceremony area, and indoor eating area, and even a big house with rooms to get ready in and Rachel not only made each space feel intentional and special, she was able to move things around when the weather turns extra rainy and we moved from Plan A to Plan B to Plan C, without any issues. Looking back on it, she made our special day so seamless and easy, and my husband and I are truly forever grateful to her for her leadership and thoughtfulness. She even found our favorite flower and placed it in our room the night before so it bloomed perfectly the morning of for detail photos and getting ready photos. P.","reviewText":"Because of all the florals already there due to the nature of the venue, and all the florals and plants they filled in, I didn’t feel the need to have a ton of florals, so I did them myself! I found Flower Moxie here on Zola and they were so great! If you are thinking about DIY’ing your florals, I would definitely recommend looking into Flower Moxie! They have some set packages you can chose from, but I upgraded to the highest personalized package and it was so worth it. I got to have a phone call with the florist and they put together a custom package, and they definitely killed it, the flowers were exactly what I had in mind. There were so many resources and they went through everything so well I felt so prepared and we had almost no issues putting all the florals together. All of our florals still looked fresh and beautiful on our wedding day, and some of the florals in our arch arrangements lasted WEEKS. A word of caution though: it is definitely a lot of work, so just ensure that you have enough time in town before your wedding (i.e. you can’t fly in the day before your ceremony, if you are traveling to that location) and enough people to help you (for putting together, transporting and anything day of).
