I got married here on 9.29.24 and cannot say enough good things about Arlington Acres! From the initial inquiry, tour, all the way until the wedding day, Sarah was so helpful in making my wedding dreams come true. She was always so quick to respond to my million emails and so willing to help give feedback when I was questioning certain decisions. It ended up raining on our wedding day, which wasn’t ideal, but even with the rain, our wedding was PERFECT. The venue is gorgeous, there is so much room to really make the event unique and personable to you, and we loved that we were able to choose all of our own vendors. I can’t even tell you how many of our guests came up and told us how gorgeous the venue was. My husband and I would recommend this venue a million times over. If you are considering it, book your date now!! You absolutely will not regret it. Thanks Sarah and family for everything!! (Still waiting for professional photos so here are some that people took for us!)

Catering off-site events can be difficult, but Jeanne Fleming made it a breeze. We, as caterers, were able to communicate easily with her from when the wedding planning began through the day and evening of the event. We were able to work together in a way that gave the bride and groom nothing to worry about on their special day. I have been recommending The Christy House after discovering how great they are to work with!

If you are looking for a venue that is not only beautiful, but will make all of your dreams come true, look no further. I would give Bloom and Bower a 10 out of 5 if I could. The value of the venue is extraordinary. It was so wonderful getting to sleep on site at the venue since it is a bed and breakfast, we even had our whole bridal party stay on site and had our rehearsal dinner there. It was so great to not have to leave the property all weekend and not worry about forgetting anything because it was all right there. The greatest part of this venue is the owners themselves. Margaret basically acts as a day-of coordinator and goes above and beyond to make sure that everything is exactly how you envisioned. She fixes any problems that arise and if I had a crazy idea her response was always, "let's make it happen." Margaret worked wonderfully with all of our other vendors as well. She called each vendor the week before the wedding to make sure everything was ready to go. She also had so much good advice for life and marriage. The venue also had staff that set everything up and tore everything down, which means our bridal party and family got to enjoy themselves. The staff was so kind and helpful and made everything look exactly like my vision. I didn't even have to hire a florist because Margaret and her staff built all of our centerpieces and ceremony florals from their stock of florals. When you book with Bloom and Bower you also have access to a HUGE (and I mean huge) number of decorations that Margaret has curated, meaning you can spend your money on other aspects of the big day. The communication with the venue was excellent. They always got back to me in a super timely fashion and answered all of my questions (there were a lot of them). The professionalism of Margaret, Thomas and their staff really showed. And all of this didn't break our bank. The gardens are also absolutely gorgeous, as well as the gazebo and inside of the reception barn. I highly, highly recommend getting married here.

Mohican Gardens & Conservatory was a wonderful venue for our wedding. While their communication wasn't the quickest, they were extremely accommodating and helpful throughout the planning process with my last-minute decisions. The venue itself was truly breathtaking - the gardens and conservatory provided a spacious and comfortable setting that set the perfect backdrop for our special day. They even went above and beyond by providing a golf cart to transport my grandparents around the property, which was a huge help. I would highly recommend Mohican Gardens & Conservatory to any couple looking for a stunning wedding venue with a dedicated staff. My favorite part was having private vows at the dock. Besides the music from the DJ, my husband and I were in complete privacy.

I wanted to get married barefoot in the woods and our anniversary is in March. Everyone thought I was crazy but The Brook was willing to work with me to make that dream come true. We had plenty of backup plans but didn't need them. The cabins were incredibly convenient for family and guests and really nicely done. The firepit became a huge focal point-we had our rehearsal dinner over a campfire and the night after the ceremony stayed up late chatting with family around the fire. It brought back so many childhood memories of doing the same growing up. And being able to include our dog was extra special. The brookside spot was the most incredible pictureseque view and we have the most amazing photos!
