We eagerly and enthusiastically recommend Ironlight to our couples who are seeking a modern space with a seamless experience. The venue quickly sells itself as you step off the elevator and into the 180 degree view of downtown Lake Oswego. To have the option of an outdoor experience with a reliable (and stunning) indoor space is a gift in Oregon with our sometimes unpredictable weather conditions. We have found this to be a special place that couples may celebrate their best day ever with the ease of so many inclusions already in house. And more importantly, the experience and care from the staff is really sincere as well. They really strive to support the best interest of the couple and have always helped us to keep their experience at the helm. We do a little 'happy dance' when we get the news that we get the opportunity to work with them and care for a couple together! :)

Nestled in the trees on Parrett Mountain, our wine tasting room is a cozy, inviting lodge-style experience. Drink wine by the fire or sit outside for a fantastic view of Mt. Specializing in Big Bold Reds, we also have some award-winning Pinot Noir and white wines as well as local beer on tap. Our tasting room is a versatile space for hosting many events: private tastings, meetings, birthdays, small casual weddings, and more. Events must be catered. We have preferred caterers but will consider outside caterers as requested. We can seat 64-70 people inside and on the patio, but allow a maximum of 85 guests per event. We had our wedding at Parrett Mountain and truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The venue itself is stunning, from the beautiful views to the peaceful setting, it was everything we imagined and more. What really set the experience apart, though, was working with Sara. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. From the start, her communication was clear and timely, and she always made us feel like a priority. She took the time to walk us through every detail, answered all our questions with patience, and offered helpful suggestions that made the planning process feel manageable and even fun. Thanks to Sara and the team at Parrett Mountain, our wedding day was everything we hoped for. We’re so grateful to have found this venue and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place to celebrate with the support of a team that genuinely cares.

The Joel Palmer House Restaurant

5.0

DAYTON, OR
  • Up to 150 guests
  • Select services
  • Outdoor & indoor
  • Starts at $6,000

Back in 1997, our family took a creaky old historic home and gave it a new life—as a fine dining restaurant built around the things we love most: wild mushrooms and Oregon wine. Not just any wine, either—we’ve got the largest collection of Oregon wine you’ll find in a restaurant anywhere in the world. This is a place for couples who want more than a pretty backdrop. It’s for those who believe the best memories are made over a table groaning with good food, surrounded by people who care about what’s in the glass as much as what’s on the plate. If your idea of a wedding is to celebrate with like-minded food and wine lovers, you’ll feel right at home here.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Classic, vintage atmosphere
  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Provides a dedicated team on-site

Venue considerations

  • Dance floor not included
  • No on-site guest accommodations
  • Lighting and sound are not included
The Joel Palmer House Restaurant was an absolute pleasure to work with for our wedding. From the very first interaction, their communication was clear, up front and honest - they were open and accommodating throughout the entire planning process. They worked closely with our other vendors to coordinate the event, and even created a specialty menu to accommodate our guests with gluten allergies and vegan diets. Chris and the whole team at the Joel Palmer House are the kindest, warmest, and most talented folks in the business! We had an amazing experience and would highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding.
