I have always had a deep-rooted love for all things Mother Nature. My childhood passion led me to a MS in Conservation Biology, focusing on endangered species and ultimately sustainable agriculture. During that time, I fell in love with floral design. I truly enjoy working with my hands and being creative. I love combining the elements of Mother Nature in an enchanting and elegant way that creates a greater appreciation for our magnificent natural world. Combining my educational background with floral design, I strive to source as much locally grown and in-season products as possible, ultimately promoting a more sustainable floral industry!

My passion for floral design began in 2013. I had just moved to Memphis, TN to participate in a sustainable farming program. Working alongside flower farmers, I grew an immense appreciate for the beauty of flowers. For me, designing is like painting with flowers. Working with my clients to see that their vision comes to fruition is very important to me, as I know that planning a wedding can be stressful. Flowerwell was built on a dream of merging locally grown flowers with artfully curated floral design. Established in 2015 in the countryside of Rochester, NY, owner and founder Jenny Rae Siplo set out to provide a creative approach to both the wedding industry and growing cut flowers commercially.

These wood flowers come from the root of the tapioca plant and balsa wood tree bark. The wood is then shaved and crafted to look like flowers. They are then dyed and arranged. Wood flowers are eco friendly and never wilt, they can even be scented. Wood flowers are slightly less expensive than fresh flowers but they should be looked at as an investment. They are a great option for when out of season florals are not available and are everlasting. My services include wood florals and signage for weddings/events and home decor along with event design and day of setup.

I started working with wood flowers after I got married. I was disappointed by what the florist created for us,. I did not get the flowers I wanted for my wedding day.
