“My wife and I had actually happened upon Demecio and Luna Bella two years prior to our wedding completely by chance at a wedding expo in LA. Like any prospective couple, we had no idea what we were looking for. Luna Bella was actually one of the first vendors we spoke to on the floor that day. Hours later we had come to the conclusion that they were probably who we would choose for photos, it wasn't even close after talking to a hall full of photographers. Luna Bella was actually the first vendor we officially booked and by far the single best choice we made. We actually contracted Demecio and his team to do our engagement photos on top of the wedding photos, from the start he was extremely courteous and his enthusiasm made the day fun. Even early on Demecio was open to our ideas and engaged in even the smallest details my wife or I suggested. Post engagement he was easy to communicate with, for all the vendors we worked with, it was more like talking to a friend than just someone working a contract. This was made even more apparent as leading up to our wedding and the day of his team was as excited as we were for the wedding day. There's a million things that go into a wedding day and obviously having someone to rely on to help line out details and timelines like Demecio was a godsend. On site the day of, Demecio and his team weren't just photographers. Of all things, the last thing I expected was to be complimented on how much fun our wedding guests had interacting with his whole team. Some of my family mentioned his team members by name recounting small moments they helped inspire and capture in photos we later saw. Beyond that the Luna Bella team took so much love and care in their craft, if you're willing to spend the time with them, they're willing to go the extra mile to capture just the most gorgeous photos you'll ever see. Quality wise the delivery was timely and the style of the photos looked clean and natural. Overall I cannot recommend Demecio and the whole team at Luna Bella enough. They're straightforward in their promises and over deliver on results. An extraordinary team that I'm beyond grateful to have met.”

“Dear Becky, Considering your abysmal treatment of me and my business partner, I am disappointed by all the false claims in your review. I was hoping some time and reflection on your part would improve your disposition but I see, sadly, it hasn't. As you have noted in your review, I do strive to put my clients at ease and provide support for them on their journey to their wedding day. This includes the tasting you mentioned, which I charge a very small fee to cover ingredients and travel. At the end of that two-hour tasting of over 10 different cocktails, not once did you express any dissatisfaction with any of the drinks, but instead raved about the drinks and asked for refills (specifically the espresso martini, which you chose as one of your specialty cocktails). Following this tasting, I continued to work with your additional demands of uncompensated site visits to a location over an hour outside my service area and an additional uncompensated tasting. This still was not enough to satisfy you. I was asked to attend a second site visit, which I politely declined. You then asked for another uncompensated tasting to "practice" making a Painkiller, a drink that I supplied you with during our initial tasting. Unable to accommodate your last minute request, I asked you to send me your version of the recipe, so I could be sure to make it to your standards on your wedding day and you proceeded to send me the exact same recipe I used to prepare this drink at your tasting. To clarify on which services were "out of scope," meaning, not that I cannot provide these services, but that these services do incur extra charges. These services include: • A third specialty cocktail (two are included with my package) • Pre-batching those 3 specialty cocktails, which I simply added on an hour of service time to be able to prepare this in time for service • The addition of 20 more guests, which changes the initial service quote • The addition of 2 mocktails, also pre-batched, which incurs an additional charge for additional ingredients and prep time necessary and is also considered a specialty cocktail. This, you added on a week before your event and insisted on making yourself, so as not to incur the extra charges. I never asked you to. • The addition of a second bartender, who you repeatedly refer to as "my wife". She is, in fact, my business partner and a certified bartender. All of the above services were added on after our initial consultation, within the weeks leading up to your wedding. And after I updated your invoice (in which I was already giving you a discounted rate) to include some of these changes, you proceeded to call me and scream at me over daring to charge you extra for things you asked for. I am very mindful of budgets and have worked with countless clients to find solutions and services that fit within their budgets. I, however, am a business and cannot work for free. Any stress added to your plate, was due to your unwillingness to properly compensate me for these additions as well as making constant changes leading up to the week of your wedding. In the 3 years I've been in business and over a hundred events my business partner and I have bartended, you are the only client I have had to part ways with. I am happy you found someone you trusted more than me to make your wedding a success and I wish you all the best on your new marriage.”

It was “enchanted forest amongst the dinosaurs” themed and had little nods to timeless films like Harry Potter, Edward Scissorhands, Jurassic Park, etc. Imagine a client telling you they want all that along with a tight budget and having to deal with very particular museum restrictions! Well, let me tell you... this team went above and beyond to accomplish this eccentric bride’s dream wedding!! Take it from me, weddings can be super overwhelming for a bride. Like decisions of what color napkins look good on the sweetheart table to how they coordinate with the linens on the cocktail tables, to making sure all the build staff are on the same page behind the scenes, to paperwork and communicating with all the dozens of vendors. I could not imagine doing this by myself! My head would have exploded! Not only was the design and organizing aspect completely handled and managed by the team, Kari was my personal therapist through months of planning and dealing with typical wedding pressures. Kari is a powerful force who gets the job done. She will let you cry on her shoulder and she will step up for you if you need someone who can grab ‘em by the balls! I recommend Kari and Pat completely and if I had to do it all over again, I would hire them again and again. I plan to hire them when we renew our vows in 10 years and I’m sure I’ll come up with an even more elaborate theme for them to play with. Working with Kari and Pat Frey Designs was the most therapeutic experience of the entire wedding. They held my hand every step of the way, had patience for all my indecisiveness, and kept me sane on top of it all. The final product was literally ripped from my imagination and executed flawlessly. Her energy and enthusiasm for you is consistent whether it’s an engagement session running around Los Angeles or the end of your 15-hour wedding day. We’ve received our wedding photos and are so happy that we hired Mercy and Hasselblad Studios. Mercy was very easy and comfortable to work with (even with the myriad of ceremonies in my multicultural wedding). She navigated our big day so thoughtfully and professionally. “I am so happy to write a review for Seth and his team! From the very beginning, Seth has been a pleasure to work with. The first meeting I was very impressed by how he had researched the wedding venue and its layout so that he could ask us what our thoughts were on setup/DJ location placement etc. Our second meeting was then focused on how to set up the wedding playlist using the Vibo app. The app is fantastic, and an excellent way to keep track of the songs you wish to have played at certain time points (bridal processional, grand entrance, pre-ceremony, etc.). In the app you can request starting timepoints and leave extra notes for Seth to look over weeks before the wedding. Aside from these aspects, Seth went above and beyond to help us with other non-music related aspects of the wedding such as our wedding slideshow (that he helped give us step by step instructions so that the quality of the slideshow would be good for when it was projected on the wall of venue). He also created a mashup for my husband to dance with his mom ("Dance with me" mixed with "Just Dance"; it was amazing!). Even during the week of the wedding, when I had a mini-freak out, he was so kind and understanding. In the end, I 100% recommend Seth (and Matt too! He was at the Photo Booth, and he was so kind and was ready to help folks if any technical help was needed)! Seth's team is professional, kind, and has great attention to detail; if you can, book DJ Seth and his team for your wedding!”
