The farm features a treasure trove of amenities like a pond-side gazebo perfect for ceremonies, a silo bar for cocktail hour, a lighted bonus patio, and a reception barn for dancing the night away.

We have multiple locations and flexible options for any kind of weather. We cater to low-stress, common sense, and reasonably priced weddings by having everything pre-decorated for you, you just need to provide your colors and personal items. We take care of set up and take down, provide all tables, chairs, linens, and we even offer a variety of misc. wedding items that you may borrow. We do not have any food or drink restrictions, so you can bring your own drinks and choose the caterer of your choice. Call to discuss which location may be best suited to your needs

The Bushnell Event Center is one of the leading venues for hosting weddings, ceremonies, corporate events, holiday parties, showers, and other events in Downtown Springfield, Ohio. Built in 1893, the remarkable venue has led the way in hosting the most elegant events. The Bushnell Building was built in three stages in 1893, 1903, and in1939. The building continues to be renovated internally to meet tenant needs. The Bushnell Building remains of the most impressive original structures to flank the city’s central square. It is a monument not only to the days of booming business in Springfield but also to the civic involvement of one of Ohio’s great leaders.

Our barn is over 100 years old and we added on a new barn onto it. Together they can seat up to 200 people for a wedding reception. We have added beautiful bistro lighting so not a lot of additional decorating is needed. You have your choice of 4 different outdoor ceremony sites. A grain bin gazebo on a stamped cement pad with bistro lighting is available to be used as a ceremony site or the setting for cocktail hour / outdoor bar. The bridal party has the admissions barn to use for wedding prep and the room on the back of our new restroom building is where the groomsmen can get ready in.

Our Event Hall features dedicated bride and groom suites, a large Main Room and more intimate Birch Room with a bar and fireplace. A large lawn behind the Event Hall is most commonly used for outdoor ceremonies. Built in 1900, the historic barn is a transitional atmosphere between indoors and outdoors. Its original wood and stone structure is peaked by a 30-foot ceiling, and is complemented by a wrap-around deck that provides breathtaking views a gentle breeze. Pretty Prairie Farm is truly a one of a kind unique venue, all original woodwork, cleaned and restored to its original charm, the perfect place for your perfect day. At Pretty Prairie Farm you can choose any caterer you like, although we do have a list of some great local companies that we have had in the past as well as DJ’s and other vendors. We have an inside capacity of 350 guests. Below are a few links to some previous weddings to give you a better idea of the property. The barn was build in 1840 and the Victorian house in 1896, both have been restored to capture all the original charm and yet incorporate handicapped bathrooms, prep rooms, and bar. The farm is located 1/2 mile off the road down a paved lane lined with 118-year-old hedges. We only rent the property once per weekend so you have access the day before and after your wedding day, allowing you to fully enjoy your wedding day celebrating

Retreat 21 provides all-inclusive services to make planning your big day a simple process.
