Since that wonderful day, lots of hard work and learning has manifested in to many celebrations that we have been entrusted to cater! I'm from Statesville, NC. I've been in the kitchen cooking since I was a kid. I grew up with a family of cooks. My grandmother was a head chef for 32 years at a mom and pops restaurant and cooking with her on the weekends when I visited her is where discovered my passion and real love for southern homestyle food. Gomez Salsa began in the small town of Brownsville, Texas where the best taco of my life was assembled by my abuelita (grandmother), Oralia Gomez. She also hand-chopped the most authentic salsa I’ve ever encountered, which my father made weekly for our family. From them, I learned to make salsa the way they did and began producing and selling Gomez Salsa around the Cincinnati area.
