The Capital Effect are the members of Lloyd Dobler Effect and have been full time touring musicians for over two decades, having performed in over forty states and thirteen countries. These rock n’ rollers have opened for The Goo Goo Dolls, Maroon 5, Kansas, and played sold out shows for packed audiences. They now perform over 75 weddings and private events every year as a full band, duo/trio and jazz events.

Growing up, DJ Theo would tag along with his father DJ Leo. Now based in Washington DC, Eli has been traveling the globe for two decades and weaving his experiences into fresh folk anthems of personal empowerment, natural awareness, and finding one’s place in the world.Rooted in the Americana tradition, Eli’s influences range from the flamenco progressions of Andalusia, Spain, enchanting minor chords from Israel and the Middle East, and powerful melodies from the southwestern United States. As a quick learner, and now at the age of 24, Jocelyn has now become a well-seasoned and a highly sought after DJ in the DMV area. Her music portfolio consists of 30,000 plus songs stemming from Big Band, Rock, R&B, Jazz, Pop, to Hip Hop. She has performed in over 50+ venues, some included are Grand Ballrooms, Country Clubs, Smithsonian Castle, to local night clubs and backyard BBQ’s. Jocelyn’s professionalism is unparalleled; she always aims to please and strives to exceed her client’s expectations

Jill started DJing in 2003 for Associated Consultants, for schools, nightclubs, weddings & corporate events! She has been the DJ for Linedanceforyou, an organization that teaches line dances of all styles, since 2006, which serves the Northern Va. area on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays. Because Jill is also a professional musician, she is made constantly aware of all genres of music, by engaging with the public 7 days a week. She can easily play a night of Latino, trap, country, oldies, and current dance tunes but also has a children’s library of songs for school events.

Aaron is a high end DJ who has worked all over the DC and Northern Virginia area. He began to DJ in 1995, performing at countless clubs and bars in Atlanta to help support his music career as a bass player. Aaron’s love of music began in high school playing bass in jazz band.

A native to the Washington DC suburbs, his musical palate is as eclectic as the community that he proudly calls home. His sets range anything from Top 40 and House to Latin Dance & Hip-Hop. In his words, “it’s all about getting the perfect reaction. There’s nothing better than dropping the perfect track at the perfect time to not only watch but feel the joyful excitement of whoever’s on your dance floor. It doesn’t matter if I’m playing at a nightclub, a local bar or a private wedding; there’s no better ‘high’ and it never gets old.
