Your heartfelt ceremony can take place outdoors under the delightful covered bridge, which provides a natural backdrop for your vows. Afterward, a relaxed cocktail hour can be held in the lower barn and the adjacent outdoor area. The upper floor of the barn offers 3,500 square feet of event space that when combined with our patio tent, can accommodate up to 350 seated guests. For larger celebrations, parties can be split across the two-story barn and the patio can be converted to accommodate additional seating.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, The Carriage House was built in 1908 as part of the Watson family estate called High Gate. It was designed by Horace Trumbauer, architect of The Biltmore Estate. Your wedding will have the elegance of a by-gone era. The elements of character show through with a terra cotta roof and verdigris copper accents that are trademarks of the Tudor Revival Style architecture. The event can be held inside the Carriage House with up to 135 guests or under the high-peaked tent in the garden that can accommodate up to 260 guests.
