“My husband and I recently had the privilege of working along Jen and her husband Matt as our wedding photographers. A week before our wedding, we received some unfortunate news that our original photographer was no longer able to shoot our wedding, based on an unfortunate situation. Immediately, she reassured me that we would be in the best hands with Jen Peterson Photography. As you can imagine, that's a lot to take in so close to your wedding day, but as soon as I spoke to Jen on the phone (whom I've never met), all my nerves slipped away! It was as though I had known her for years. She truly is the most kindhearted, genuine, and uplifting person I've ever had a chance to work with! The fact the her and Matt graciously agreed to shoot our wedding, no questions asked and so last minute, speaks of their character. Fast forward to our wedding, they far exceeded every expectation we had! From wrangling in two extended families, to dealing with the sweltering summer heat, nothing stopped them. Throughout the entire day, she made sure EVERY photo was perfect. “I hired Vic to photograph my bridal shower based on some recommendations on FaceBook! I took one look at her portfolio and knew that she was talented. She made the booking process super easy and was reachable via Email and Text. She formalized the agreement via contract which was very professional and helped me guarantee that she would be committed to my event. On the day of the event, she went above and beyond. She helped calm me as we were running a bit late but she kept things moving the whole event. She captured photos of me, my guests, and got detailed shots of all our decorations. “Heather was wonderful to work with! We are the awkward type in front of a camera, but working with Heather made everything seem so stress-free during our wedding planning and photo sessions. Our engagement photo session was fun and care-free and we unbeknownst to all of us, she actually ended up taking beautiful photos of our beautiful rabbit, Trixie before she passed on the following month. Something that we truly appreciated and will never forget. For our wedding, Heather was very detailed and gave us a run down of what to expect for the photos. Nothing was hidden and she was up front about it all and asked if we wanted to add anything as well. Although Mother Nature had other plans for the day, we were still able to get the majority of our photos done. She even snuck in polaroid photos that were just too adorable - And I have no idea when she even took them! We received our wedding photos back and everyone absolutely loves them. I just love her style. While there are some photographers who do a large amount of filter/presets (no shade to those who do), there's just something about Heather's style of being able to keep it clean and natural that I just love! With Mother Nature having other plans with making it a misty ceremony and a downpour reception, we did miss out on doing a handful of photos of cocktail hour. Because of that, Heather was quick to offer us a bridal session to take some additional photos to complete our wedding. Instead of returning to the venue, we actually decided to relocate to Fort Bragg and take photos at the Mendocino Garden. The photos turned out absolutely gorgeous with the oceanic background and the dahlias that she chose to work with. She made everything seem so light-hearted and there was so much laughter with each session. Thank you Heather for everything you did throughout our wedding planning and so much more. Not only does she know what she is doing in terms of getting all the planned shots, she got incredible candid shots and live shots of my groom and I, our families, and our guests. As we've been looking back so far at our pictures, we get to relive the emotion of the day. It's the intangible thing that an incredible photographer can do--capture the emotion. I can feel our joy radiating out of our photos and I am so grateful I hired Lo. Years from now we are going to get to experience this day over-and-over because the quality of her photos is incredible. “Knowing how much of a financial investment a wedding photographer was going to be, I did not take my decision lightly. I reached out to several companies and had several questions when determining who would be the right fit. “Kevin was the best investment we made for our wedding. He went above and beyond for us. He stayed late at our wedding and gave us expert tips and tricks during our wedding to create a smoother event. The biggest problem I experienced during my wedding (and I assume most other do as well) was stress. Everything was flying at me and my then fiancé and the last person I expected to help comfort me and my wife and put our minds at ease was our videographer Kevin. He handled things with such ease and calmness. It honestly felt like he was the captain that kept out ship afloat. He’s more than a videographer. He helped organize and coordinate family/games/events during our wedding and truly did more than we could have ever asked for. Not to mention he even took incredible photos for us and had a entire edited album created for us the very next day. He displays the incredible professionalism and true care for his clients. From the moment we met him a year before our wedding day for our engagement photos, we knew we picked the right photographer for us.
