Just outside of downtown Tampa sits The Orlo, a private social club housed within the historic Spafford House and ballroom. Orlo J. Spafford, the president of the Tampa National Bank, built the Orlo in 1896 to share with his son and his family. In 1922 the Orlo was sold to the Tampa Women’s Club where the addition of a ballroom was made to host formal parties and extravagant dances. This historical ballroom still stands today and is ready to host your next party or extravaganza. Some of our favorite features are our gorgeous bridal suite on the second floor. It has so much natural lighting (a photographers dream) and large enough for you and your bridal party to get ready on your wedding morning! The Orlo has been restored and still has the original wood floors, chandeliers, and grand staircase. It is the perfect blank slate for your wedding or event!

The 1918 Tampa is a unique bar measuring at 2,470 square feet, it can fit up to 361 Cocktail or 220 Seated. The 1918 is fully stocked and open to the public and can be rented exclusively for your event.

Our facility includes grand entrance vehicles, such as a Cinderella carriage or Mini Hummer, to make your entrance to the reception a magical experience for both you and the guests.
