We spent a long time searching for a photographer that matched our style, was easy to get along with, and was LGBTQ friendly. Finding his website and talking with him during our consultation really sealed the deal for us. His laid back, comfortable, and easy to get along with vibe was everything we were looking for. As a queer couple, it was really important to us to have a photographer who did not try to pose us in traditional "masculine/feminine" poses, and captured the intimate, candid moments of our day. Since our wedding was such a small event, but a special one, we did most of the planning and decorations ourselves. I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! Hi, I’m Isaac. In my world, light is everything. The cool ambient hues at dawn, hinting at what the day may bring. Golden sun rays catching particles through a tree as friends gathers to celebrate. He already delivered about half of our retouched photos a week after the wedding which was insane and I love every single one. He was flexible with the 5 flower girls we had in and out of pictures and the multiple areas on our venue property. Overall an amazing experience and I recommend his work to anyone and everyone looking. He was very considerate when I first reached out about his work and wanted to use him and was very mindful of his travel fees to fit in our budget.”
