My husband and I live across the country and Corey flexed his schedule so we could zoom with him after west coast working hours. I always knew I wanted a drummer with a DJ at my wedding and Corey not only made that happen but also brought his sax! Communication was A...timely and efficient. They have a very user-friendly app making it beyond easy to allocate song selections for each milestone moment throughout the day (including a 'do not play' list!). We had another zoom call with Corey a few weeks before the wedding where we talked through all the details...I am not lying when we were on the call for almost 2 hours where Corey answered any and all of our questions, offering unbiased advice when we asked for it. The audio the day of the wedding was perfect. We had an outdoor ceremony and Corey has grade A equipment and sound set up so everyone could hear us and the officiant perfectly. No static, no microphone feedback, nothing! We also had some specific music timing requests that Corey nailed. The dance portion of our wedding was truly epic. We had the drummer (which I HIGHLY recommend!) and Corey surprised us with his sax and it was show stopping! Corey helped make our wedding day run so smoothly. He was able to seamlessly guide our guests from location to location throughout the day. “We booked String Theory's string quartet for our prelude, wedding ceremony, and cocktail hour, and they were hands-down one of my absolute favorite parts of our wedding day. I am honestly so overwhelmed with (positive) emotion when I think about what they added to our day that I don't even know where to start. As the bride, you're really running around a lot during the lead-up to your actual ceremony. We were kind of running late, so when we got to the venue itself I wasn't really focusing. Suddenly I realized I was hearing a string quartet playing, but they were executing the music I'd selected so flawlessly, I thought I was listening to a professional recording until I remembered that it was LIVE MUSIC played at MY WEDDING. I was absolutely blown away and the emotion of the day just hit me in that moment, and I genuinely believe it was enhanced by the strings! I did a private first look with my dad and they started playing music from Lord of the Rings that I'd selected and honestly it felt like I was in a movie. The emotion was that much more powerful and I still get emotional thinking about that moment. Our guests were absolutely raving about them as well, and in every video I've seen, they are playing often challenging pieces flawlessly. My ONE regret is that I did not get to sit and listen to them more, and like...what a regret to have! Allison was so wonderful, warm, professional, and lovely to work with. String Theory is the best and I am currently finding myself trying to plot events to book them for so I can personally experience more String Theory!
