Sweetwater Strings was founded as a string quartet in 2007 and has grown to include 20 talented musicians, since adding other instruments like harp, guitar, vocals and piano. Little Chef Klezmer Band’s lineup of clarinet, saxophone, accordion, percussion, and sousaphone (marching tuba) is inspired by Eastern European brass bands. The ensemble’s arranging style pays tribute to early American klezmer bands whose recordings were popular among American Jewish immigrants in the first half of the twentieth century. Dan Pinson has toured and performed throughout the United States, Europe, and Mexico, appearing with or opening for Stevie Wonder, The Temptations, Don Rickles, Joan Rivers, BB King, The Beach Boys, Gato Barbieri, Spyrogyra, Kenny Loggins, Jay Leno, Jeffrey Osborne, Keiko Matsui, Selena, and many others. He has concertized with the Arizona State University Orchestra and the Scottsdale Symphony Orchestra. Dan has served as a Faculty Associate at Arizona State University West and was a 22-year Teaching Artist with the Arizona Commission on the Arts. He has presented Jazz education programs to over 30,000 students in Arizona and Mexico.

Ellis Green is a jazz pianist/bassist from Phoenix. For nearly ten years Ellis has been performing around the valley at prestigious local venues including LON's at the Hermosa Inn, the Phoenician, and Scottsdale Fashion Square. During his career Ellis has performed at events for clients ranging from ASU to the NFL, and for audiences including the mayors of Phoenix and Tempe and the governor of Arizona. Ellis regularly performs solo and with a full band (i.e. with upright bass and drums).
