One of the bartenders even stepped up as an informal day-of coordinator, staying by our side throughout the event to handle any last-minute needs. The inclusive atmosphere allowed all of our guests to feel welcomed and comfortable. \nDuring the planning process they provided multiple options for table arrangements, arbor options and arbor placements, as well as options for dinnerware, glassware and silverware! Our group of country boys were pleased with their yard games and were playing corn hole all day! Two of the three spaces are regularly used for wedding ceremonies and receptions. There is also a beautiful golf course that couples are encouraged to utilize for their wedding photos. Drumlins has a been a go-to venue for all types of events for over 30 years. It is a venue that all locals know well, and have attended past events. Laura Massa, the catering sales manager, has been planning events at Drumlins for over 5 years, and has a great deal of experience and knowledge of the spaces there and planning events. We just returned from our honeymoon and are still reveling in the most magical wedding weekend we could have ever had. It’s all thanks to Meesha at The Wilburton Inn. From the moment we came for our initial tour, Meesha was all you could want out of a wedding planner, as well as a friend who is thoughtful, kind, smart, and more than a joy to be around. She helped with every single aspect of our planning, and we trusted here word entirely — we couldn’t have been more happy with working with her! \n\nAs to the venue, there is simply no better place to have a wedding. For context, my husband and I have big families. A lot of our family members were coming in from out of town and out of the country, so our priority was to have a wedding weekend where people could be together for more than one night. This is exactly what we got with the Wilburton. Our guests were able to play tennis, go hiking, go swimming, explore Manchester and, most of all, be together in the days leading up to the actual wedding. We reserved almost all of the houses on the property for guests to stay in, which created a laidback atmosphere as most people didn’t have to worry about driving back and forth or leaving at any point. \n\nAs for the wedding night, it was pure magic. The food was perfect, the service was perfect, the weather (luckily) was also perfect, which was just the cherry on top. We were devastated. It was quickly made clear that an international wedding was out of the question for the foreseeable future, so we redirected our search closer to home. After a few months of truly disheartening searching, we were directed towards Scott Farm. Really as soon as we pulled into the parking lot we were in love. It is nestled inside of rolling hills and the land is covered in beautiful orchards and picturesque white buildings. It was like a scene out of a movie--and it really was, as Good Will Hunting was filmed there! The process of planning the wedding with the staff at Scott Farm was truly seamless. Simon was kind, patient, and helpful, leading us through all the specifications and details of the site, and making himself available if we ever had any questions or concerns. And Jaja was a rock star--she went above and beyond in every aspect of her duties, especially on the wedding day. Without her calm and confident presence, trouble shooting problems and reassuring an anxious bride and groom, the day would not have gone so perfectly. I can't say enough about how supportive, pleasant, and wonderful everyone is at Scott Farm.
