We are an upscale wedding venue with both inside and outside seating located directly on picturesque Lake Ontario with our 1600 square foot dock over it. The Barrack’s Inn stone center building was the first building built in the War of 1812 to be the bakery. It is on the historic national register. Inside we can seat 150 people, while outside we can seat an additional 100 people. We are happy to make any and all food requests and we feature all-inclusive packages which include: flowers, table decorating, music, photography, cake and desserts, ceremony, favors and all food and beverages.

Let's start with who we are......an emergency room doctor and a nurse, with their daughter and son team; then add in a couple of retired/current school district employees who met in the restaurant business. River Vista is something that we built together and we take great pride in the opportunity to work together as a family to serve you. Over ten years ago, we began the transformation of a one-story bar/tavern into the unique venue it is today. Each design element and architectural feature come together to create the perfect balance of elegance and functionality, with a sophisticated yet rustic feel. Our facility features high ceilings, exposed cedar woodwork, crystal chandeliers, and massive deck overlooking the river. Our main reception area is complimented by our state-of-the-art conference center, which is an ideal setting for corporate training and professional development.

Celebration Event Hall is a full-service banquet facility. Everything needed from linens, chairs, tablecloths, plates, glasses, food, alcohol & more are available. We also offer servers and bartenders for passed or buffet-style functions. We have a full liquor bar including beer and wine. Martinis, Manhattans, Cabernets & Bottled Beer is just a few choices of alcohol that you can choose from for your event. We can also do a custom drink menu to fit your needs.
