From an early age, I could often be found knee deep in mud & weeds. I spent my most memorable childhood summers exploring the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, gathering treasures under the shade of the oaks on my abuelita’s ranch. When I moved north to Alaska, my love for the natural world grew deeper still. I found myself out foraging food & flowers on our endless trails, returning home with basketfuls of lupine, fireweed, fern, & fritillaria. Designing floral vignettes became a creative outlet as I balanced a career working in nonprofits. I made the jump into full-time floral design 5 years ago & have never looked back!

Anthology On Main is an alternative paper florist, specializing in flowers handmade from book pages! Although my business is based in Kansas, I ship flowers all over the US! I handcraft your wedding flowers from the pages of your favorite books, using your favorite flowers (no matter the season) and in your choice of colors! I enjoy using the perfect blend of local foliage and specialty stems to create custom pieces for my clients. Combining my passion for florals and my love of art, I create top-notch designs to achieve my client’s visions. The Teal Door AK works exclusively with their brides to create a one of a kind experience for a magical day to remember. Fun fact: Kasara has a teal front door which inspired my business name!
