From an early age, I could often be found knee deep in mud & weeds. I spent my most memorable childhood summers exploring the beautiful foothills of the Sierra Nevada mountains, gathering treasures under the shade of the oaks on my abuelita’s ranch. When I moved north to Alaska, my love for the natural world grew deeper still. I found myself out foraging food & flowers on our endless trails, returning home with basketfuls of lupine, fireweed, fern, & fritillaria. Designing floral vignettes became a creative outlet as I balanced a career working in nonprofits. I made the jump into full-time floral design 5 years ago & have never looked back!

I discovered wood flowers when I was planning my wedding in 2020. From that point I fell in love and Tipsy Designs blossomed! Since then, we have done several weddings, even was hired by the football hall of fame in Canton Ohio in August 2023.
