We discussed that we would be postponing to [this] year. Three hours and one bottle of wine later, we figured out the details for her to come shoot our "mini-mony" wedding on our original date. That day comes and my family couldn't stop talking about how much they adored her! Honestly, she will make you feel like she has known you and your family forever. Okay, I'm probably losing you here so fast forward to our real wedding last weekend and as things go, we got a little bit behind in makeup so Andrea (and her AMAZING second-shooter Rachel) were already at the venue getting the groom shots, details shots, etc. I get there, I'm stressed, not entirely confident in my last-minute coordinator supplied by my venue, and there's Andrea ready to greet me with a huge hug, smile and all the reassuring words a bride needs to hear. Instant relief. When I tell you that Andrea (and Rachel <3) went ABOVE AND BEYOND their job description, I whole-heartedly mean it. She literally bustled my dress and helped me get in/out when I needed to pee. Without this girl, my day would have been unbelievably chaotic and frankly, a mess, but she truly saved it. She will not only photograph your day and produce those breathtaking photos (which she 10000% did because I already got my sneak peeks), but she will be your shoulder to lean on because she truly cares about her brides and loves what she does. No two weddings are ever the same and I love the differences in all of your stories. I pride myself on getting to know my couples personally and on a deeper level. We become actual friends. “When I say I searched high and low for a photographer with vintage style editing like Tara, I mean it. I spent months and months looking. She was always on my radar but was unfortunately booked for our date. After lots of contemplation and talking it over with Tara, we decided to go the route of having a “sub” photographer shoot the day and then Tara would do the editing herself. WOW did that work out for the best. The photographers that came for day of were two INCREDIBLE ladies, one I was highly considering when I found out Tara was booked, the other is now my business brand photographer. On top of that Ashley and Rebecca were able to take the pressure off of couples portraits before the wedding by creating a unique, intimate, striking, outdoor day-after location shoot. This allowed us to enjoy the run up to our wedding with minimal disruptions and gave us a portrait shoot that exceeded our expectations. “I truly had the dream team with Ashley, Michelle, and Ashley on my wedding day. Communication is a huge thing for me when it came to planning the wedding and they always responded in a timely manner and worked with my husbands crazy schedule. On our wedding day Ashley was with the ladies and I during getting ready, while Michelle had to handle the guys, I say handle because they’re a handful especially once my dad is thrown into the mix. (You know the sos button on your phone… yeah my dad bumped that and the state cops showed up…. Oops.) but Michelle did amazing with them. We had a first look and then did our family photos and they did a wonderful job getting the kids attention (3 kids under 2). During our ceremony I had no idea they were even there, they really do just blend in to the scene. During cocktail hour Ashley took some precious photos of us with our son that I know I’ll cherish forever. They even took us out for some nighttime portraits before the left for the night. I highly recommend working with Ashley and her team !”
