The barn, originally built in 1869, became the foundation for a Ski Lodge, but would ultimately become the event center that it is today. Although many updates and renovations have taken place over the last 50 years the original barn remains intact, and its beams are still visible in the hall. Brandt Manor at Sunny Slope Farm is situated on 210 rolling, wooded acres just outside Carrollton, Ohio. The property was a working farm from the early 1800’s until the 1980’s but today it consists of a restored Victorian farmhouse and barn, honeymoon cottage, various outbuildings, and breathtaking ceremony spaces. If you are looking for a charming and natural space for your event, Brandt Manor at Sunny Slope Farm is the place. Five fun facts about the Lake Erie Building: 1. We were originally built to be Templar Motors back in 1917. There were less than 3,000 of these cars ever manufactured and if you look carefully, you may even be able to spot one while in the event space! 2. Omni Lakewood purchased the building in 2005 and now manages the building, which has been divided into individual suites that are home to over 100 businesses. 3. The west parking lot where our dock is located used to be a test track for Templar Motors. 4. We host only one event per weekend and give our clients access beginning on Wednesday so they can bring in all their personal touches! We also only require cards and gifts go with them that night and everything else can stay giving you more time to spend with your new spouse! 5. We include a private parking lot and have a huge municipal lot across the street that's available to guests. We offer 3 wedding rental packages.
