Red Wing is a cute, historic town with a lot to offer for out of town guests. The golf course itself is lovely and the venue is breathtaking. Carlee and the other staff were attentive, kind, and truly cared about making our special day perfect. We were blessed with a gorgeous sunset and our guests couldn't stop raving about the location we picked for our wedding. If you want a memorable, amazing day - book the Skyroom!!! PS Definitely book the Walsh House if it's available. The space is stunning and holds a lot of character. We had plenty of space for both my wife and I to get ready in two separate suites. There was a separate space for everyone to enjoy cocktail hour while the room was flipped for the reception and dance. From the minute we toured the space we knew it was where we wanted to have our wedding. Sitting down with Megan was an absolute delight. We hired her for her day of coordinator services as well and she took care of everything. She made the room stunning and we didn’t have to worry about anything. She was extremely professional, she was in constant communication with us and even took our call the night before at 10pm when our officiant quit on us last minute. She helped us through the situation and calmed our nerves. The day of the ceremony it felt like we were working with one of our close friends by our sides. Yes, please. I toured a handful of places in MN before I signed up for the Barn at Ballard Creek. Other venues were either too expensive for what you get, the people weren't as approachable or as communicative, or as beautiful location-wise. I love the big red barn, the cottage to get ready in, the cows, the flowers, the big tree where I was married, and more. There's plenty of parking. It's clean. Lindsey helped me figure out how to make the wedding work for my vision and budget. I like that I wasn't forced to pick a specific caterer too. 5 stars all around. Have your event here!
