It's been over 20 years since I first began my journey as a photographer. Most of that has been devoted to weddings. I knew right away just after shooting my first wedding 14 years ago that I had found my calling. It was perfect because I could combine my passion for photography and love. I am a hopeless romantic at heart. When it comes to my work, I believe every detail matters. No wedding is too small. No detail is too insignificant. I strive to capture it all with the time we are given.

After 10 years of marriage, the memories from our special day have slowly faded. With weddings going by in a flash, it's nearly impossible to commit it all to memory and with time, it will fade. Hi friend, I'm Katelyn! Thinking back, I really have always loved documenting my life through photos, even if I didn't realize that was what I was doing. It all started with me begging my parents to take me to CVS to grab a Kodak disposable camera, using all the film to take photos of anything I could, getting it developed and creating my own personal photo albums that I still have packed away at my parents home. In 2011, my mom purchased the coolest Nikon D5000 DSLR camera (which I eventually took over, sorry mom!!!) and I never looked back.
