This is hands down the best venue in the blue ridge mountains (coming from an Ashe County local couple)!! This venue is so stunning and needs minimal decoration to make it feel elegant and classy but still have a relaxed atmosphere. Paula is filled with so much wedding knowledge and provides a list of recommended vendors, which would be great for those who are not local. Paula is quick to respond to texts and calls and always eased my mind. The bridal suite, groomsman room, and honeymoon suite were so convenient to have right on site. The cabin on the farm was clean, spacious, and has everything your family/friends need. Mark, Paula’s husband, works so hard during the week prior to the wedding to maintain the landscaping and beautiful dahlia garden. I would also highly recommend using Caroline Orcutt as your wedding coordinator (add on service). She is beyond organized and makes sure everything runs smoothly the day of your wedding. She is quick to response to emails, texts, and calls. She also gave us tons of suggestions that would fit in our budget. We could not recommend this venue more and thank the Domske’s and Caroline for all they did for us to make our day so special!!

Recent renovations even made a fully enclosed bar area perfect for sipping and staying warm in the winter. We had 35 people and it was the perfect size even though 35 was the maximum number of guests. Overall, not a chance in a million years I would prefer any other venue. I wanted a wedding venue in the mountains of North Carolina. I viewed so many venues from Salem to Banner Elk. Nothing compared to The Fields of Blackberry Cove. They were easy to set up a viewing appointment with. They walked us all around the property, including multiple ceremony options and a large guest house with a bridal suite and two guest bathrooms. Doug, the owner, offers his own catering which was beyound incredible. We did a buffet style and it was all delicious. Doug even made me my own cauliflower steak - I'm a vegetarian. Through the entire process Doug and his team, especially Carmen, were a pleasure to work with.

While Emerald Ridge is an extraordinary venue, it wasn’t the venue that won us over. The owners, Janice & Paul, were the reason we decided we wanted to have our wedding there. Janice was our first point of contact and couldn’t have been more communicative, authentic, personable, and accommodating. They allowed us to take our engagement photos there after touring the property. Paul drove us around on his golf cart and happily answered all of our questions and put us at ease. We hired Malorie as our “month of” wedding coordinator and we’re extremely pleased that we did! She’s clearly an expert when it comes to the property and the wedding planning/execution process. On the day of our wedding she went above and beyond to make us feel as special and comfortable as possible! Mason and Taylor were also extremely accommodating and hard working. The entire staff was incredibly genuine and kind to us and our guests. We highly recommend booking the “No Stress Wedding Weekend” package and adding Thursday night to get the full experience of feeling right at home. Emerald Ridge has a vast inventory of decorations which allowed us to travel lightly from out of town. Emerald Ridge has a focus on keeping their property naturally beautiful and respecting the environment, which we very much appreciated. We truly could not have asked for a better wedding experience! We are grateful from the bottom of our hearts.

We loved having our big day at Weaver House. We used their full planning services and their catering. Alexandra is very easy to work with and is that calming presence on your wedding day! The venue itself if beautiful - we picked it partly because of the gardens outside since we love the outdoors and love spending time at our local arboretum. The catering was amazing as well - Chef Joey and Chef Brit take time to learn what you and your partner like and can put those spins on dishes you choose. The value is also great for the Western North Carolina area. We are so glad we kept our wedding in WNC after Helene and could support a wonderful space that truly wanted our day to be what we envisioned.

The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, with a modern and inviting atmosphere that made our special day feel so warm and personal. They were able to fulfill my request to rearrange some of the furniture to better suit our needs, and even allowed me to rent a tent to cover the back deck so my caterer could easily set up and tear down our dinner buffet. The only downside was the lack of a full kitchen, which did make it a bit more challenging for the catering team. But overall, Redbird Ridge Estate went above and beyond to make our wedding day perfect, and I'm so grateful we chose this stunning venue.

Highland is definitely the best venue in Asheville! The rooftop has beautiful mountain views, the barrel room has a great skylight and hanging greenery, and the reception space can be made into whatever you want it to be. We used all three spaces for our wedding and it has great flow and plenty of space for a larger guest count. Erin & Bailey were both extremely helpful throughout the entire process from touring/initial questions to all the tiny details leading up to the big day. Our wedding was scheduled shortly after the hurricane in fall 2024, and we were so passionate about having it at Highland that we rescheduled to 6 months later, and couldn’t be happier with our decision. Amazing staff, excellent draft beer, convenient to downtown, and a beautiful space; we can’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else!
