Tired of the same wedding barn look? This 1883 historic Laundry building is the epitome of a unique venue. It has several spaces to choose from- from an intimate 50 person ballroom (great for ceremonies) to a larger 150 person main reception area. The outdoor terrace has beautiful party lights and allows the party to spill outside. There is also a 2 bedroom apartment that can be included to use as a bridal suite or to house the couple. The flexible space is set up with A/V and projector and comes with square tables that can be arranges in multiple ways. We are an open vendor venue and you can provide your own alcohol (with TABC bartending) saving you money. Or leave the planning to us and check out our affordable all-inclusive options. Hi! M’Kensie here, the younger counterpart of this mother-daughter duo and also just so happen to be much of the story behind how the barn came to be. I was in my final year of college and planning a wedding for the Summer of 2012. I was so very blessed to grow up on our family farm, with a dad who loves to build things and who wanted to make all my Pinterest dreams come true. So as wedding planning began, construction started going up, and PLOT TWIST, the groom and I broke up…..that’s when our family realized God had much bigger plans for the barn. So with a little more time to dream, and much more time for construction, Lone Oak Barn was born. My mom left her teaching job behind, and I joined a few years later, neither of us knowing the community we would gain. Every couple, every family, every vendor, non-profit, and company we’ve hosted has become part of the Lone Oak Family. Our hope is that you’ll come on in, stay awhile, and most importantly, come back and see us.
