Our historic house was built and finished in 1774 and was the home of New Jersey's first elected Governor William Livingston. Throughout time the house was purchased to the Kean family where they resided until the last resident passed away in 1995. Our 23 acres grounds are full of beautiful gardens. Celebrate your next occasion on the Navesink! Our Main Dining Room has spectacular views of the Navesink River through the large, fully functioning glass garage doors. This room can accommodate roughly 50-60 guests. The Rooftop River Room is a fully enclosed rooftop that offers nearly 360-degree views of the Navesink River. Similar to the Main Dining Room it features two solid glass garage doors that open, in addition to the two sliding glass doors on the right hand wall. This room can accommodate roughly 30 guests. The Turtle Room is located on our second floor, and accommodates 20 guests. This room boasts an upscale relaxing environment coupled with the benefits of a private space. And last, we have our Starfish Room, this room allows roughly 30 guests. The Starfish and Turtle room are connected to each other with private restrooms and a small bar located at the center of the room.

The Grand Ballroom is the largest room available. Accommodating up to 800 guests, the space is breathtaking with its four magnificent crystal chandeliers and large dance floor. The property features a large tented pavilion, grand ballroom and lower great hall for more intimate gatherings. The Tuscan garden is modeled after the Villa Gamberia in Florence, Italy. The Tuscan Garden features landscaped terraces, formal water elements and topiaries period plantings. The Chinese Scholar Garden is one only two authentic Chinese Scholar Gardens in the United States. The garden features magnificent rockery bamboo foot path, waterfalls & Koi-pond.
