The absolute silver lining is that Devin was SUCH a good fit for our vibe: she put us at ease and took photos that were vibrant and fun (rather than tender and serious). She got to know us and photographed us "as we wanted to be seen." The other component of this is that when we received our wedding (and engagement) photos, they were all excellent. I am CERTAIN that Devin had to cull through a bunch of awkward shots....but the ones she sent made me feel super attractive always. Excellent judgement on her part! Reviewing our wedding photos let us relive the day - it captured not only the visuals but the *feel* of the day. Since then, I've also hired Devin to shoot musician headshots for me, with the same experience. I would hire her again with enthusiasm!”
