As a photographer, I love the different textures and colors the variety of trees offers, especially in the fall when the foliage is stunning. I also love the free-roaming chickens and their occasional surprise entrance during the ceremony or reception! They went above and beyond to accommodate our requests, even allowing us to get an epic picture on the chairlift. The venue itself had a charming, rustic feel that was exactly what we were looking for, and the economic value was great. The staff was excellent on the day of, and the wedding went off without a hitch. We were also able to set up our decorations a day early, which was a huge help. The food at the rehearsal dinner at Crooked Tree Tavern was delicious. We are so grateful to Mt. The food was delicious and abundant, we especially loved the scallops. The staff were professional and attentive. I am already contemplating a 5 year anniversary party just to have a reason to host another event there.
