Located on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, the view makes Brewster a popular location for weddings. If you are planning on a smaller, intimate wedding you may choose to rent out the Pinckney Boathouse only. If you are having a larger gathering you have the option of renting the boathouse and the adjacent field. Included in your rental fee with the Pinckney Boathouse are tables and chairs. From the beginning, the property has been operating as a greenhouse. In fact, in the 1800’s, Highland Farm was the largest supplier of cut flowers in the Northeast. Highland Farm is a family owned and operated business, and the undeniable sense of family and welcome energy is palpable the moment you step on the grounds. The saying is true here: “you come as strangers and leave as family.” The Greenhouse and The Farm has been run by 3rd generation owners, Joe and Christine since 2008, but Joe and Christine’s involvement in the farm runs far deeper than ownership. The Watson homestead was established in Hiram, Maine in 1785 and is the oldest house in Oxford County. Located on 28 acres of rolling fields, soaring pine forests, stone walls and 1250 ft of Saco River frontage the house has been lovingly restored with an eye to historical integrity . Historic, breath taking 4 story barn The farm and barn are about 200 years old, and the barn was originally used for cows. Over the years, it has been very well taken care of, so the original beams are still there, in sizes and shapes that you just can't get anymore! The owners are the third generation in their family to take care of the property and are very grateful to be the current stewards. The barn renovations completed in 2020 and it is all ADA compliant and up to code. In the barn, there is a full sound system, 14 chandeliers, a beautiful live edge bar top, two high end composting toilets (the flushing kind!), massive barn blue doors on each end, and a grand entrance staircase. The barn holds up to 200 people and is big enough that you don't have to rent a tent even with tables and chairs, a major benefit and money saver! In the event of rain, you can use the barn as a ceremony and reception space.

Our historical 3 acre waterfront property with 2 acres of open area on the water with its views of Casco Bay and Portland Harbor, our heated 2500SF National Historic Landmark Greenwood Playhouse with our lighted water view deck, and our outdoor lighted pavilion. We have a commercial kitchen for your caterer on site, and we have an 8' x 4' gas grill. We are all volunteers of the Peaks Island Lions Club that own, operate, and maintain the site, and profits go to Island Scholarships and grants. May, June, and October are our discounted months.
