Here at Tunxis, we offer two unique wedding venues:  First is the outdoor Pavilion that you will find nestled in a pine grove.  Spring through Fall, this outdoor escape is perfect for your rustic wedding with up to 300 guests.  The second is the indoor Fireside Dining Room.  Year-round, this cozy tavern space is ideal for weddings with up to 120 guests. 

The restored dairy barn built in 1828 on a 100 acre, family ran, historic venue with modern-day amenities is nestled in the Hudson Valley, NY. It can host up to 150 guests comfortably inside the barn, with additional space on the deck for cocktail hour and an adjacent lawn area for your ceremony. There is also an additional lounge seating area if some of your guests would like to relax with a bit of quiet time. Antique chandeliers accent the hardwood floors, walls and beams providing the rustic character that compliments the temperature controlled AC and heat to enable us to provide year-round events. In addition to the barn, deck, and ceremony space, the onsite 4 bedroom (7 queen beds) restored farmhouse is included in the venue for the weekend. A Friday check in enables you to prepare yourself for the big day and set up the space in the barn with any decor. The house is yours for the entire weekend for up to 8 guests. It works perfectly as a bridal suite for everyone to get ready.

Red Maple Vineyard is a beautiful vineyard and farm, located on 143-acres of vibrant and diverse property which over looks the historic Hudson River. The land is composed of a renovated cow barn from the 1800's, stone foundation ruins, horse paddock, chicken coop, expansive lawns, forests, vineyards, fruit & vegetable, herb and floral gardens. Created by pioneering artist and professor Harvey Fite, Opus 40 is a world-famous sculpture park and museum with nearly 60 acres of meadows, forested paths and bluestone quarries — including 6.5 acres of earthwork sculpture — in the heart of the Hudson Valley.
